looks like chix wings are one great food around that everyone likes... last week there is chix wings too! ;)

it just a great finger food to go around and chat about bikes stuff at the same time

Totally agreed with you both.

It's nice to see the grp getting bigger and bigger at every lks. I think pichudot has charms for getting more riders down each time.

Cant wait for this sat day trip of corners...hohoho.

Past rides are already history....

Current ride: FW VFR 800 ABS

FCE only for FZ1, dun have for Fz6..

But hor, the bike is still a Fuel Injection bike, so most likly still got the issue leh..

I haven't went for a Dyno yet. Cause i still using Map from Forums, me also want to know whats my current HP..

Will update once i went, sld be soon.

Ya, Need to install Speedo Healer, otherwise your speed will not be correct, like display show 110km/h actually is 100km/h.

I see your mod, I think it shouldn't have any problem reaching 145~150Horse!! A cup of coffee as a betting stake for your dyno results. If less than 145 horses, I lose. :cheeky:

bro, i think, if you're talking abt stock fz6, FC is mostly depending on how the rider rides as well as te serviceability of the bike...

if you're getting a brand new one, no doubt on that the FC should be quite high and good...

of cus, 2nd hand bikes have its advantages especially in costing wise, but if you get urself a lemon, then u can try crying ha-li-lu-ya le...

thanks bro! yup i get what u mean. riding style plays an important part in the bike's fuel consumption. is it possible to have some numbers as a rough gauge?

Let's say my bike is running smoothly with no problems whatsoever and I'm always travelling between 100 - 110km/hr and on the expressway like 80% of the time. Under these conditions, what would be the fuel consumption for a stock fz6 08-09 and likewise for the older models like the 05-07?

so sorry for asking so many noob questions.i'm a student so i gotta try to save here and there.

no worries bro... little sharing session only...

err... i not sure for older models ah... i jus share wif u on newer stock models...

base on what you mentioned above, a relatively stock fz6 08-09 model should be able to grab 300-330KMs from the main tank (15.8L), which is like 19-21KM/L...

the reserve tank of fz6 s2 model is 3.6L, which make up of a total of 19.4L...

the above calculations is roughly base purely on a average sized rider with no pillion with no heavy loads...

but i tried before on my bike on Malaysia trunk road with 60-90KM/hr with some/little short burst of power, i can grab more than 350KMs, with no side panniers and little load... ;)

btw, u student ah? SPians ah or? :D

guys wanna check with you guys, coz i bought a second hand fz1s 07. I do not know whether it has done air box mod already or not. I search the forum that airbox mod will increase heat

BTW beneath the rider seat, i ride for > 30min. It feels like the engine heat goes up to my seat. Anybody has this problem ?

Will tankbra reduce the heat around the tank ? if yes, can advise how much u guys bought it and where.

Also looking for bellypan for the bling factor, can share ur lobang. Thanks alot guys.

Nobody dies a virgin coz life screw u up

air box mod main purpose bring down the operating temp of the bike, not heat up the bike.

the heat at the seat ah, you just have to get used to it, it normal, ride more worry less...:thumb:

ya 13 - 15km/l is indeed scary. i don't know what's wrong but maybe, they rev the **** out of the bike all the time.

what year is your bike? i couldn't tell what model your bike was cos the double exhaust was distracting me. it's freaking cool! 17.5km/L is still decent.

btw, what did u do to your bike? did u mod it up real good?
