Things to do for most :

 

1) De-rust and grease mirror mountings

- someone got good industrial grease? if yes, good... cus i dun have and i would like to re-grease it as well... i also found a better way to control rusting... will share in diy sessions...

 

2) change to lock nuts suggested by pichudot

- i still got some lock nuts left for the price of $0.30 where i got them at this price... u need 4 of these fyi...

 

3) Re-route wire (not sure only applicable to after after airbox mod or even stock airbox)

- this can happen anytime when you have the time... but i no expert and no experience... unless i completed it myself, then i can help... but i dun mind let's do it together... i got the manual for this...

 

4) Fender extender

- superspeed might do a MO for this soon... keep a lookout... if wanna do, recommend someone to bring rivets...

 

5) Polish headers

- polish headers also need to dit (do it together)?

 

6) Change air filters

- no problem...

 

7) dual headlight

- i dun have the necessary metal contact for the headlight harness socket...

it's only for fz6...

 

if u like, u would wan to do a headlight switch mod instead...

yeah...put a headlight switch, it will be more advisable to lengthen the life span of any bulbs

 

 

btw, wats the best to use for polishing header, my headers ever kana "wrap" by plastic bags, and slwoly it melted away, now my header, looks like a layer or dono wat on it, able to use those washing gauze for basins or bowls to "scrub" that layer off before polishing it back ?

for HID kit, limbat is selling $110 for 1 bulb set with mini ballast...

but he do not install it for you...

once a orange and white paints stick onto my header. it become harden when it cool down.

 

i used pen knife to cut the thick paint and slowly not to scratch the metal surface. a fine sand paper to clear da excess from the metal surfaces and den used marguire polish to shine da header again. all took at least a few hours to see the changes. hand pain polishing it.

get the header hot hot.. then use the metal scrub to scrub it..

 

then after tat use autosol.. train your fingers first though...
