with no PC ?

PC not required for this, killing the cat just make your hearders more free-flowing..thus better performance. O2 sensor will compensate for the changes. Take note that there's one more fierce cat hiding in the stock endcan...

i can trade with you my decat midpipe with your stock midpipe if you are interested. the honey comb is damn damn thick.. i took a pic of mine if any1 is interested to see what exactly is blocking the airflow of our exhaust system..

omg the stock for fz6 is bt020? if you see tyre life based on the threads of the tyre, that 1 40k and the threads still alot. i used pirelli dragon, very grippy! but lifespan of it i predict its going to be quite fast.

Get the right tires for the purpose you want it for.

So far Pilot Road 2 has done its job for us..... scoring well in the category or "grippiness", Long Lasting and safe trips (survived our 17 day trip to, from and around MHS!!).....

No need to let go of air to try make it to another rest stop. Not everyday we get saviours to give us free tyres....

To check the TPS values, you have to press and hold SELECT + RESET, then turn the key and keep them pressed for 8 more seconds.

It'll appear dIAg on the display, you can release them now. Afterwards use select until you see a d01 (Diagnostic Mode for the TPS)

Then it should read between 15 and 17 if the throttle is closed,

With the throttle fully open, it should read between 97 and 100.

If the values are over or below those I mentioned, the TPS should be replaced.

To leave the dIAG mode, simply turn the key counter clockwise.

I did my de-cat at Bikeworkz at Shun Li Ind Est for $50/-. U can feel the engine have slightly more power when u open throttle. So far I did all my mods & servicings there.Look for Ah Beng.

So far, I did some surey on my own on tyres too. I intend to change to Pilot Road 2 or Angel ST when my stock tyres wear out. Both are sport touring tyres with very good reviews. Both are also long lasting and very grippy in dry & wets too.

Yup on bt020. The threads on the front is a goner soon and the rear is being patched multiple times. lol. Think must change by nxt mth. Am still considering the decat bro as tyres are the main priority for me now. Btw y you wanna let go yours?

morning bros.... Raining morning..

Eh anybody wanna go for track session this Saturday? Gonna bring my 510 and fazer6 there for a spin.

then why after you installed PC and done all those mods, you still get backfiring?

FYI, there are custom maps available online with diff configurations for downloads. sending the bike into dyno is to maximise the full range of power available for the bike. no bikes are the same, even with the same mods, same year, same model. you do not have to send in for dyno for every mod you do on your bike.

but then again, are you able to utilise 100% of the bike's power?

Eh aRcHeR to be honest ah. Even on the stock bike who can utilise the bike 100%? At pasir Gudang i also cant utilise 100% of the fazer6 lo or perhaps i am a lousy rider

But But But as always my logic is this. People do what on their bike is their businesses and problem. So long they happy can liao, they don own an answer to anybody even they add this n that and still park their bike at home don ride for a long time also like that. Who am i to comment tio bo?

Just my screwed up logic
