Thanks alot! i need a POI (tian lai seafood) so that i can set my gps in case i get lost.

what's most impt for me is chain and all the other hard to reach places with grime and dirt. for painted surfaces, normally i will wash them again and wax my bike.

 

you nearest POI should be a petronas station at GP town, after this POI on your right, go straight till you hit a T junction, turn right and go straight you should pass tian lai restaurant about 500 m away, carry on for around 200 meter you reach the car wash on your left, it a house with a big compound

btw, at the T junction, it's a mini bus station interchange for CW... :)

i searched for gelang patah, then the only petronas that appeared in search results was far from tian lai restaurant. :cheeky: probably an outdated map.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

u will noticed that there is a petronas on your right (red box), go straight till next T junction (C7)...

at that T junction, in front of you is actually a mini bus station for CW buses, you turn right at this junction...

go straight, u will notice tian lai is jus in front on your left (red circle)... 200m more, u reach the mentioned bike wash area...

 

hope i'm right... :)

What causes de-lamination?

From what we saw and heard from owner.... he never pump air for very long time le.... front also kinda of soft.....

Due to the distance we covered(155km speed avg 130) Lots of heat have build up inside the tire. And this is a 0310 tire... not those old tire....

 

probably tire failure during manufacturing? no doubts about alot of heat while travelling but the air pressure will stay constant upon reaching the 'peak' temperature. 0310, meaning march 2010.. that's a pretty new tire, too new in fact..

 

probably it was already a ticking time bomb, just that it happened at the wrong place wrong timing..

the direction sound just about right by charles..actually quite simple from check point, just exit at geylang patah then following the road until 1st T-junction, turn left and follow road until 2nd t-junction, turn right and follow road for another 500 meters or so..once pass tian lai restuarant another 200 meters you reached the bike wash

operation time is around until 7pm or sky turn dark, which ever comes first
