i change the midpipe for my bike, can pass. decat stock they might spot it, different case. although i think based on emission will still pass.

 

i think that's if we cut the mid pipe or there is a re-welding marks on the mid-pipe. de-catting our stock midpipes doesnt hv to do that, it's just knocking off the cat inside from the opening.

 

so u were saying based on the emission test it could pass? cos the inspection is just based on the emission test done by the probe....if that's the case, then it's safe....phew...

speakin abt tis..dat time i went tourin my fren ridin r1 '09..while ridin along NSHW at 140km/h..aft some time his bike will come out alot of white smoke..especially when engine brakin at dat speed..juz abt to reach yong peng..he notice his oil indicator came out..topped up at abit n carried on. duno whether it applies to his situation wif e akra

 

then in that case, it's not the akra pipe issue, it's the head gasket issue already i think.....oil leaking or coolant leaking into the combust chamber...

cus dragonforce is riding a fz6 mah... the major cat is at the mid pipe... :)

for fz1, no need to cut/weld all those stuffs... :)

height adjustable right? cus i was browsing the net that day on springs and saw wilbers springs... from picture, it seems that it's adjustable... :)

hw much is wilbers? 800+? sumtimes i go up hump..my front fork cn hear hissin sound..like hw u pump on a suspensioned bicycle..is dat normal or time for service?

mine is and they have compression, tension and rebound settings, else ohlins only have 2, that the reason i went for wilbers for my gen1

it cost me $1400 5 years ago, not sure how much it cost now, maybe cheaper

 

my front fork internal is on ohlins springs and valve, cost me around $800

it is height adjustable but to lower the shocks requires a lowering link which they have as well....that's what i understand from their website...

bro, i think urs is a munroe or kyb brand la now. those brands uses nitrogen gas for the shocks. i think that's why got that sound......power sia....:faint:

wow...a good deal for 3 settings capability n still much cheaper than ohlings........but that was 5 years ago.....

when i last did a servicing at teck thye, david did mentoned the internal of the suspension were using quality stuff..i know nuts about suspension internal so i have to believe him, lumbar 1 was there to witness the conversation..:p
