my interim waterproof shoes. it works n ur socks won't get wet becos u don't have to wear any......but still better than slippers...

u guys wear these riding boots for everyday use? or jus strictly for riding?

 

 

For riding, but if let's say go shopping shd be wearing either riding shoes to walk or normal casual shoes.

agree...few times i go this time a lot of bikes but moveable la. at 5.30 SG side opens few more counters.....but i think not as bad as causeway la....no choice lor.....but at least MY side not so bad.....push slowly, take fresh sea air....hehehehe.....

btw, mon to thur can go... but fri is definately a no-no...

Hahahaha... was it the tattooed Indian sale guy or the Chinese 'manager'? I think the Indian guy can be a little curt in his matter. But to be fair to him, a lot of people are quite happy with the AirTech's waterproofing. Even forum member swiftee commented in the other thread that he liked his AirTech a lot and bought a 2nd pair after his crash. So maybe it's just my luck

for me personally, i wear it to work, then at work i chgd it to normal shoes....too warm to wear it through out la.....even in aircon n some more hi cut...

depends on individual bahz...for me is just for the ride to work and back home and when going touring. At work will change into a normal everyday shoe..

Yeah, same here - wear the boots to ride to work, change to formal shoes that I keep here, change back to ride home. Sometimes even change when going out for lunch, if it's raining - the boots are waterproof, formal shoes are not

Actually I put on my boots whenever riding, no matter how short or long the distance. Which means keeping them on the whole time I'm out (sometimes all day) so to me comfort is as important as protection. Your priorities or usage pattern may vary

Something to share abt tires :

 

Metric System

 

*(1) First specify the width of the tire, the height of the sidewall (proportion of the width) and the tire’s diameter.

 

*(2) Second specify the strength of the tire’s structure.

 

Example 90/80-17 49P, 90/80 R 17 49P

 

*“90” means the tire’s width is 90 m.m.

 

*“80” means the height of the sidewall = 80% of the tire’s width (90 X 80% = 72 m.m.)

 

*“R” means the tire’s structure is radial (without R means the tire’s structure is bias belt)

 

*“17” means the tire’s diameter is 17 inch

 

*“49” means the loading capacity. “49” equal to 185 KGS.

 

*“P” means the maximum speed symbol. “P” equals to 150 KMs/hour.

 

There may be “M/C” on the sidewall. “M/C” means this tire is for using with motorcycle.
