no need... if really that happens, i'll hand carry it on my left hand and ride using my right hand... woohoo!

okay... reflective stickers... go ISS mart... block 3005 beside TP HQ... it's at the middle of the whole stretch of the block...

or if ISS do not have what you need, you can go and look for the number plate maker shop at the end of the shop, nearest to TP HQ...

prices wise, ISS is cheaper than the latter...

good luck! :D

wow long time no hear from u bro! at which hole had u been hiding these days? hehehe! just kidding... ;)

anyway, brake pads r best to change when it's roughly left with 1 to 2 mm of lifespan... you can gauge it from your naked eye... it's not depending on mileage becus brake pads r easier worn out more to street riders than to long distance tourers... :)

for recommended brands, it actually defers to each individual... some goes back to ori, some goes for aftermarkets... :D

Paiseh that I can't join u guys for the Sunday breakfast trip.... falling sick for the last couple of days....

Thanks for the info bro, Pichudot....

I had set a "mileage" interval so that it will remind me to check the wear on the brake pads...

Anyone heard or used this brand call "Versah" ???

Thanks bro for the info. From the look the tyre seems to be quite ok. It is not a new tyre, mine is 2007 model FZ1, I just took over the bike recently; current tyre is "Metzeler M3".

I have got few recommendation about new tyre. One of my colleague's cousin also riding Fazer Gen1, he recommended to change to Michelin Pilot Power 2CT, whereas my another friend recommended Michelin Pilot Road or Bridgestone. Any recommendation from you guys about which model of tyre i should get?

Thanks in advance. :)

I've been using the M3 for a few years now, I've found it to be quite a good tyre in both wet and dry. But then I haven't tried anything except Metzeler on my FZ1, so I can't really compare. Check the tyre's age and wear level, if both are ok it should be something else.

Manage to shot these 2 bros

Is it just my imagination, or is there something different about the black one? Why does it only have one brake disc on the front, and that too much smaller in size? o_O

not very pleased with it, kicking myself for being in such a rush to get back to work that i missed the damaged fork seal and non-firing third cylinder.

got back from a petrol run, and wanted to reset the trip meter, and realized that the reset button is not functioning, and the digital clock is 13 hours late.

That does sound like quite the lemon. But maybe the problems are easily fixed (like the fouled spark plug). Fingers crossed and good luck!

Im usin michelin too but feel like tryin other tyres like dunlop or pirelli or even shinko..haha

I'm a Metzeler fan myself. Apart from the rubbish factory fitted MEZ4, I have been quite pleased with the M1 and the 2 sets of M3's I've used since then :thumb: Most likely with go for the M5 next time around, but hoping to find some up-to-date comparison tests in the meantime as well.

For best performance in wet and dry, EBC & Braking are among the best. Best to use sintered brake pads (like EBC & Braking) for our bike as u never know when u need the extra braking power!!! There are basically two types of Brake pads. Sintered material brake pads are fitted OEM on most bikes as they provide the best braking in wet and dry. The next type is organic or kelvar brake pads which are a bit more gentle on the brake disc and less braking power.

Versah brake pads are from japan and i tried the Sintered brake pads on my ST11 many years back. Not bad. Dun use those cheapo brake pads as they are lousy in wet and dry and are a while, a lot of noise when u apply the brakes. There is this guy in the PMO who sell EBC brake pads and are cheaper than shop by u have to DIY. One pads is about $54/- and the cheapest i can find at bikeshop is Braking and EBC at $60/- with installation at Bikeworkz .
