bro..ur trip to racewerk hw much did it cost?

 

I did some extras

 

So, for the valve clearance, I didn't change the timing chain and guide because they were still within tolerance. Added some shims for the valve. Good thing about them is that they don't change things that are still in good or working condition to earn your $$.

Changed Engine Oil, Coolant + flush, plugs change, oil filter, all the needed gaskets, air filter cleaning/service.

I also did a throttle body sync, along with the ASNU injector test/cleaner.

 

~~ $500.

 

Of course I also added some other stuff like a new radiator cap, changed the wheel bearings, gutted the catalyzer, and other stuff. So my final bill was closer to 900 after all the other stuff I wanted done.

I asked around at my motorist, and they quoted 500 dolls for replacement of valve washers and piston rings. should I go for that while i am still under free service warranty?

Anyway, when I say I can't keep up with a super four, he had a head start. And I felt like i I was slow since I can't overtake him. As a benchmark, how fast should a FZ s1000 hit 100kmh from standstill?

 

Depends on what you want done.

 

The valve clearance for mine alone would have costed me $150. But I went the full monty and got the injectors and throttle bodies done too. And then some more. :D

 

No regrets. The best thing is that I told them I needed the bike soon, but priority to a good job over a rushed one. Pushed in Monday. Out on Wednesday. And the job was still done very well. No complaints.

Done very fast, and in perfect condition.

 

If you gas it and don't flip your bike over, you shd be able to hit 100kph in 3 to 4 secs. Haha. But normally, under 5 secs shd be good la. Don't wanna stress the chain la.

Can choose from Carbonlook, Gloss/Matt Black and White. There are even Limited Edition Colored Bras for certain bike models. :thumb:

bro, yest me n ken went in TnG but got to rush back fast la cos Ken got something to do. i think he have to quit his name ^Wu Gui^ alrdy. doesn't suits him. he left me wif his akra smoke sia.....

 

anyways, LAB opens at 9.....to be safe, 10 should be the right time to go la.....

 

Sorry ah.. My gf expected me after work go hospital c her already.. When I at PIE she start throwing temper.. No choice need to chiong to cgh..

gen2, first gear should clear 100kmh within 3~4secs..

 

I think should be able to hit below 3sec if you try hard enough, but not recommended. haha
