Have installed d FCE & PC3. I can feel my bike is more powerful above 2.3k rpm, d pull is more quicker & instant. D engine run smoother. Feel is totally different. I totally amuse by d new found power, d engine run totally & perform like a different bike. Amazing.

 

I would not recommend anyone to install d FCE by yourself, unless u know a bit of electrical works. It took me 5 hours to get it install. Many times I hesitate to cut d wire due to lack of confident. D cramping of d connector to d wire is also not a easy job, may b I am a completely idiot in this field. Quite regretted to DIY cos did not do a clean job with d connection.

 

bro, in the end the connections are properly secured? hope it's properly secured with no loose connections... else u will be getting all sorts of funny errors on your screen...

My idling now is 1.2k rpm. My wife is complaining that it is very noisy. But I feel that d bike sound even more gruntty & sound like a racing bike.

mine is everything yours without the FCE but additional of v.stacks, ais block plates & esrm...

i dun need a FCE cus my ECU had corrected that issues, in 2010 fz1 as mentioned by dolf...

 

do you have a voltmeter installed? if yes, mind sharing the below voltages?

1. power on without cranking

2. while cranking

3. engine started (with or without headlights) (indicate both if you have a switch)

 

btw, if you need two times to crank up your engine, everytime, you might have some issues already...

if you need four times, you better start to worry...

you got this problem before you install these mods or after?

 

btw, my idling is like 1.1-1.2, like yours...

btw, my cranking timing needed had never go beyond 1/4 or even 1/2 of a second... not even once more than 3/4 a second... it's still stock and unchanged battery, rectifier, blah blah blah, and my bike is nearly 10 months old...

cus if u use the cramp connectors, the chances that it will some how disconnected is there...

if you use plugged connectors, it's much safer...

if you use solder iron, lagi safe!

i did mine at racewerks under norman's hands... cost for new map & dyno is $200 i guess...

my ave fc is around 13.5km/l... with the pull away of my fat arse from the traffic quick & fast like as they giving me a 100-200m head start every time and gear changing at 4.5-5k rpm... hehehe...

Your mileage is impressive. I only managed 20k for d last 18 months. Need to go more touring! Quite ridiculous since riding this bike I only rode across d causeway only once, that is with u guys.

for your mapping, perhaps you would like to use first... monitor before you check out other maps... i heard from some bros that they are using ivan's mapping or some other pre-programmed mapping with no issues lei...
