Anyone had their calipers serviced before?

 

My friend's FZS600 went for wheel change at Unique @ Toh Guan, realized rear caliper piston jam, had to remove and service.

 

Was charged $120 (just for the rear caliper servicing with o-rings replaced and brake fluid of course).

I do admit the mechanics are conscientious but still feel $120 is a tat lil expensive.

 

Anyone of you done it before and how much did you pay for it?

your job scope is like our MRTC (Manila Research & Development Technology Centre)... project driven... time line based... travel all around the shop to do bao ka liao stuffs... while, my job scope is somewhere near you, i coordinate & provide any necessary assistance to these people off-shore... :)

 

of cus, i also do other support stuffs e.g maintenances of those stuffs that you guys had implemented... some at some stupid hours while everyone is sleeping blah blah blah... except that i get to ride my own bike and go any where that i like when it's out of work hours... :D

 

but i dun like to travel... i can't get to ride my bike... my boss ask me a couple of months ago if i wan to go KL to oversee our data centre migration or not, i ask him can i ride my own bike up... he gave me a "screw my arse" face... :lol:

i had done all before... but the price i not sure....

servicing for caliper $15, X-ring chians n spocket $200, brake fluid forgot how much less den $30.

not me bro... but since u had paid, is the job up to your satisfaction? if yes and u r happy with the end result, no need actually go ask ard de i guess... just ride happily and ride more, worry less... :)

hhmm...yes, i prefer the second one. as long as i get to stay in singapore, go back home after a hard days work, even if it's late, get to ride here n there n TnG, i'm happy......wat else do i want to ask for.....

poor health is mainly due to lack of exercise... i think u need more exercise la bro... i'll try to arrange for more exercise for ya e.g carry more rubbish bags, push ur bike around the carpark ground, etc etc etc... :angel:
