actually all kinds of chain will rust de becus of their material used... to reduce this, you have to lube your chain pro-actively...

the usual way of lubing means by spray lubricant onto the o-rings of ur chain or with the help of the scott oiler for example... but this will not cover 100% of the area of ur chain...

to reduce rusting on other surfaces of the chain, try this method of mine... once in a while for example once a month, use a unwanted cloth & dip it with lubricant or EO (yes it's EO), then rub your chain and coat it with a layer of oil... this will prolong ur chain life as well as u r also doing a manual lubricating of ur chain...

of cus, pls dun use old EO that you had jus drain out from your engine box la... and, you may wish to use gloves for this to prevent your hands from getting oily...

hope these helps... :)

went to bikeworkz and he proof to me that not enough current is being pulled away from the bike. When high beam, the sound goes off. Mech say shld be due to the fact that N model only have one headlight, thus, drawing less current from the electrical.

Mileage: 30K+

Year: 2007 Nov

Thanks for the feedback bro.

anyway, our fz1 batteries are mounted in a slanted way where the liquid in it is not able to be in 100% contact with the plates, thus not able to produce 100% of its capacity... lithium ion battery is the fix for such... below are some pictures for clearer understanding... :)

Yea, ah beng said that the engine is healthy. Just suggest me to put more gadgets to draw away more current.

Hi guys. Need your opinion. I have been waiting for the new shipment of non-ABS FZ1-S to arrive since July.

But the latest shipment only has the naked model.

Is it worth it to pay an extra 1k to get the ABS model or should i wait for the fresh shipment? No indication when.

The bike shop only has the ABS model at stock.

Jid-10, if it was me. I would just get the ABS and pay the extra 1k. +1 safety feature plus a 1k doesnt make such a big diff IMO.. But To each of its own.. :)

many would recommend ABS model... yes like sICkbOi-dOt-cOm had said, to each of its own...

maybe you would like to go google around on ABS stuffs to learn more knowledges... also, check youtube out... got some nice clips on ABS functions...

lastly, a little note, ABS is not that really good if u tries to brake while going down slope in a certain speed... u can find an example in youtube, search for one of the BMW off road down slope ride with ABS... hehehe...

good luck! :D

I fabricated them myself. Just make a template and cut metal & spay metal, very simple. Paste on with 3M haavy duty double sided tape.

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....
