dolf, u get those liquid sealed type from ah boy? not the oem ? So battery not upright isnt an issue to shorten it's life?

Time to replace my battery for my FZ1N 2008. Any shop to recommend for the oem battery or similar that is reliable. Does Ah Beng at Bikewerkz carries them and a rough indication of price. Thanks.:)

 

Just bought from Ah-Boy battery self filled liquid for $95, OEM from him is $145. You dont have to go bike shop.

Bought yuasa YTZ14S from Bikeworkz for $180 few months back . Can call him to check whether he got stock or not .

Hi guys, I have a question to ask. Please see the attachments. The photos show the changing of spark plug for Fz6. I found that the rubber that is circled in the pictures, is worn out/broken. May i know where i can get replacement. Also may i know what this rubber thing does?

think it's slant slightly.. anyway u using the YT14B-Bs rite? how's the life span ? how long u been using it? The GT14b-4 cost around 220 by AM & 180 by autocycle whereby the Yuasa YT14B-Bs is about $95. Can anyone share the life span of that yuasa batt?

Im using YTZ14S now.. Not sure bout the lifespan as still new to the bike.. But signs of aging on the batt has shown..

YTZ14S Ah-Boy quoted $145, i am using now TTZ14S for $95.

 

Regardless of battery conditions, i will change to a new battery every 18 to 22 months, cos i dont want to be caught stranded.

Morning guys

 

Need to ask a noob question. Just got my bike and mileage is ard 500 km. Usually when i want to start my bike, it won't start.

The bike will start when I open a bit of throttle when cranking. Is this normal? Thanks.

looks like many people have their differences in the view of batteries... that is good... discussions drives progresses... but of cus dun give senseless comments la... hahaha...

 

as long a battery can serve you well for long, who cares if it's ah boy product or oem product or other aftermarket product...

 

from what i monitored, as long a rider rides his ride frequently, he should not have much of a battery issue... dun be like one of my friend, 2 weeks no ride his bike, no disconnect his battery terminals too, voila he go kiss good bye to his battery already... hahaha...

Whats ur idling when u start the bike?

 

Think it's ard 1000 rpm.

 

perhaps you would like to raise ur idling pin... there's a method to adjust ur idling to a near-perfect stage, not too high where it will consume more petrol than others and not too low that will kill ur engine... try asking ur mechanic... else, if u happen to see me ard, i can give you some guidance... :)

that one looks like the plug cap... they call it plug cap... it's available at most bike shops... :)

Anyone With telco co.? Got a very weird problem. Whenever I reach workplace at kaki bukit, I wony be able to send any msges to a specific no. but any other no. can be send. Very weird! Helpppp! Oh yahhh.. SELAMAT PAGIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!

Even my X9 park 2weeks already drop 3v....

there was a period of time when dolf can't send me SMS nor unable to call me... he was able to SMS & call all other people except me... but he receives my SMS & calls... hahaha...
