hi guys, is there a dramastic different in fc between fz6 s1 and s2 model?

 

Mine is S2 and I usually reach 320km before hitting reserve. I think as long you don't throttle hard above 100km/hr during normal riding, the FC should be around 20km/l.:cool:

Not sure the exact litres for reserved. As previously i managed to pump 19L.. Reach the petrol station just nice the bike died dehydration.. :D

i see, noted. as fc is a crucial factor for me as i travel ard a lot.

you can get most specs in the following URLs for what type of bike u r riding..

once u got the mileage for ur main tank, u should be able to calculate how much mileage u can go with your reserve..

 

diff ppl have diff mileage, it all depends on ur bike condition, tuning, rider, etc..

Funny thing is dat my ride used to be like urs 220km only.. Aft did a throttle body sync worst become less den 200km..

 

Experiments with diff pc mappings until i get a stable 240km den since rear tyre changed to 180/55 den able to constantly hit 260km..

 

Coincidence or do smaller rear tyres give better fc?

oh.. so mine is the "standard".. :D

 

my PC mapping is economical at 0-4k rpm, power comes in at 4-8k rpm and extreme power comes in after 8k rpm.. lol..

and my usual riding style is between 3-5k rpm on local roads.. maybe that explains the FC i'm getting..

believe or not, i ever get 9.2KM/L on NSHW on one of my trips.. lol.. :lol:

 

yes, tire size & pressure does affect the FC..

the smaller in tire size, the better the FC..

the optimal in tire pressure, the better the FC..

PR3 users, can give estimate degree of wear and mileage? If best total mileage clocked till change.

last week i just travelled 304.8km before topping up with 16.9L

 

FZ1 main tank 14.6L

reserve 3.4L

total 18.0L

Work to ride and ride to work :dot:

304 incld reserve or b4? If top up 16.9 means still gt balance 1-2l.. Dats damnn good luh!!
