The rotor assembly on my FZ1 died on me and damn, does it cost a bomb. The coil itself is ok though.

And btw guys, for you guys who tour often, do a quick check on your cooling system as well before any long trips.

The thermostat on my bike failed several months ago w/o any warning. Temperature just shot through the roof at the traffic lights and at 1 point.

Guess the bike is getting old and these wear and tear parts is starting to creep in.

Usually as a set.

To add on, if you change the chain only, the worn sprocket will accelerate the wear on the new chain as well. :)

If you chain tightened to the max already? If you can easily pull a link away from the teeth of the sprocket, its most likely a goner.

Regular maintenance of the chain might save you some money in the long run.

Hi, I'm riding Fz6S 07 model. I just bought it from my friend. I pump my petrol fuel tank but the indicator is not showing its full. I went to service my fuel pump at bikeworkz but the problem is still happening. Any other riders having this problem? Any recommendation? Solution. A new fuel pump at YAMAHA Ubi cost about $700.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all Frazians,

Calling for interested riders to join the 2013 Safe Ride Day on 1st June (Saturday) at Science Centre. It's part of the Singapore Road Safety Council to promote Safety. The campaign covers all expects and end with us, motorcyclist with a short ride on our bike flag off at the end of the event.

All participants would be given

1) A riding jacket.

2) A polo-T

3) A pair of gloves

If I'm not wrong.

We can join this event as a group. The other only motor group which I know of that is participating is the Harley group.

I can be the point of contact to link up with the organiser if the respond is good.

Hi, I guess Manbai is right. The organizer actually postponed the closing date till last Friday. However I also agree that you should join the event. The organizer prepared freebies for 1000 pax, so they may give it to you if there is spare. No harm trying, take it as a gathering and knowing more friends.

Before you burn a hole in your pocket, I suggest you download the Fz6s Repair Manual and see if you can find solutions there first at Singapore Fazer Club Facebook.

usually on day time on the move while traffic is moderate on expressway, the standard temperature u should get is around 80+°C to 90°C..

if u r getting higher than this, you could probably check your cooling system.. like what Constructicon said, check your thermostat..

i'm sure you can get better prices elsewhere.. usually where you go for servicing? try checking a few reputable bike shops around before deciding on one to do..
