your bike no manual meh? do a search on the net or visit the nicer dark side you'll have all the information you need loh.

yo bro, AHM performance (recommended by NSRahboi) not bad, using maxima4, i've jus went down to change last sun, smooth, mech good and frdly, $60 + free filter, go down jus mentioned fazer club Danny can liao :smile:

good price :thumb: i diy 300v 1 bottle already $20 liao. maxima i think is $1-2 cheaper nia but get free filter wor... but i prefer to diy leh. ta bao price got slightly cheaper or not? :sweat:

 

been wanting to try maxima and fuch but somehow i always ended up with 300v. :cheeky:

Manual got but a little confused la...

1st in the manual letme get this right tht oil change is 10*1000 = 10000km rite?

but they didn't mentioned use semi of full synthetic...n so far this is the 1st bike i see the manual say change at 10000km. So thts y a bit blur la.

So far u did the right choice of sticking to motul....its one of the best.

 

I try maxima but very disappointed by it,fully synthetic can even last till 3k mileage,as 3k plus,cant even find neutral when clutch in,got to blow abit then can.

 

Fuchs,I heard some bad points abt it,but nv try before.

Past rides are already history....

Current ride: FW VFR 800 ABS

my friend tried out maxima on his viffer and claimed the it's so smooth that he can't even feel the gears shifting! :lovestruck:

 

is your experience so bad? :confused: maybe i'll check with him again. :smile:

 

motul is the priciest but somehow is not exactly a very lasting oil imo. smooth from up to 3k+. from 3k+ onwards (sometimes 2k+) i can feel that it is not as smooth anymore. not that it is bad but there is a difference. then from 6k-8k+ i will feel a need to change the oil. longest ever was probably 9k+.

 

pauche was using silkolene on his z1000. no bad comments from him though.

eeee i hate touching those oil hahahaa anyway its cheap y not leave it to the pro rite?

same here, rather pay the shop to do it cos they can dispose of the engine oil. :cheeky:

its quite bad after 3k plus,but if u using 300v,its almost the same...

Its the motul 300 v redline 5w 40 tat I try tats power.Super slick changing gear till 7k plus,still smooth.

Past rides are already history....

Current ride: FW VFR 800 ABS
