ok thanks for the info! got any idea where to get 2nd hand cbr 150? saw some1 selling it but its quite expensive from wad my fren told me.

 

no idea. try garage sale or just wander ard bike shops to have a look at the bike u want. most importantly, do ur research b4 u decided on buying the bike. what i mean my research is know more about the bike from other ppl first b4 buying. im gng down to my mech soon sometime this week to get my eo change, will help u take a look out for a 2nd hand cbr150 dude:thumb:

Our tires should be...

Front tire size 110/70 - 17 54H

Rear tire size 150/70 - 17 69H

 

Information from the net..

1. 110/150 - Width of the tire in millimeters.

2. 70 - Aspect ratio aka tyre profile.

4. 17 - Nominal rim diameter code of the wheel on which the tire fits. (Aka Rim size.)

5. H - Speed rating. Up to 130mph or around 208km/h.

6. 54/69 - Load index

 

sizes should be correct as taken from the manual, but hope i did not get the explanation wrong..

No problem man, i got mine change around late 2006.. Using Bridgestone battlax BT39 (BT39SS i heard is lighter). front and back cost me S$220, that time very new(P-plate hanging big big..), just take anyhow that they recommended.

 

maybe i got a carrot face... the price quote i believe is abit high for a 2B bike loh. Some more the staff never do balancing for me. nabei...

 

Email the boss, asking why so ex and never do balancing.. maybe the English i use is too high for his standard, he cant seems to understand me.. End up i gave up emailing him. . .

 

Maybe do email or pm a few of the bike shops in SBF to have a rough idea of the price for our tires.. I am curious to know also..

ohhh. hahah dont forget to get someone to warm up ur bike everyday or once in 2 days. u dont want to get parts inside rusty man, or do a search up on how to store ur bike when ur gonna be away.

Additional info: i have only change my tyres once on comet. It was done at HKL and cost me $220/-. Afterwhich I had also came to know that no balancing was done at all. Since then i have been trying not to go back there.

 

My tyres, coming to two years in August, clocked mileage of about 25000 ~ 28000 km, and they still look ok with quite decent thread left. (Rubber harden anot i not sure la.. hehehe...) Is it me, or the tyres on our bike wears out slower?

Hmm, air filter can only get from Ban Hong, no other place seems to have it, roughly a month ago, it cost $45/-. (Last July 2007, it cost me $35, either the shop dun like me or i got a carrot face.)

 

Oil filter - quite common, anywhere should have.. got mine for $7.5..

i think cos they out of stock for so long.. once the stocks come in they wanna chop ppl so charge $45 lor..
