ucie bro, sorry to say yr rims don't fit a 350. but yr rims are the original ENKEI ones. why are u selling in the first place, unless u've got an extra set. those are hard to get !

if i'm not wrong the 4u0 came from the recon bikes and the 4l0 from the production bikes. the 4u0 blocks had a small cutaway just above the exhaust port. the 4u0s had none(supposedly better, according to yamaha). just make sure u have them in pairs to be on the safe side. there's a 1 stamped just after the 4u0 mark on the cylinders. so far i never had any problems using either types. don't forget the jettings on yr carbs. ignore these and you'll have performance problems. AND seized pistons! u can use TZM rims, they are the same specs as TZR250(1KT) minus the made in japan stamped on it! or the 2MA ones which are not easy to find in sg. one more thing bro, do keep yr bike covered up. to avert uninvited guests. if u know what i mean !:)

Siva, mine's an RZ but production 4UO daa, original JDM specs....not even a reconditioned. My previous RZ was a reconditioned 4UO, reregistered in 1987.

thks rzboy & san853 for ur inputs.

Very subjective. Must see the logcard. Date of registration must tally, then it's a Production. My previous RZ has a different orig registration date of 1981, but local registration 1987

Aren't those for the RD125LC (non YPVS) model?

then how come rxz alot use this rim?

There's some bootleg models....non Enkei Japan but spin-design LC rims. Same dimensions 18".

yes, they belong to rd 125lc, but can be used on RXZs and RXKs. do take note that these japanese rims are solid and don't break or warp easily like the cheap taiwan/thailand types

i also strongly believe that certain models got away from LTA's registration and licensing dept. "undertable" i think. that could explain why yours ended as a production model. just to prove my point, there's a bikeshop along jln tukang which had a sg registered RGV200! the only one in sg. it's a JDM spec, not the thai made one. for those in the know, guess who's the owner now!:cheeky:

no i'm not the owner(wish i was!) there's another collector who collects rare and old bikes in sg. he's got alot old bikes and 3 rd500s in his stable. he sells parts online too. for those who desparately need hard to get old parts, go to oldpartsshop.com. but the stuff are not cheap!!!!!!!!! do take note the LC rim spindle(front) is smaller than RXZ and RXK. u might need to change the bearings.

as for TZR250, some parts (engine wise) can still be found at the dealers but cosmetic(plastics) are not that easy. there's alot of U.K dealers selling these.

no they can't, unless u intend to swop the YPVS rims onto yr ride. the front slots in easily, the rear u need to machine off at least 5mm of either spacers and need to fabricate new brackets for yr rear brake pump assembly. u also need to change yr chain, front sprocket to 520(previously 530). if u are planning to swop, go for the F2 rims. they are the lightest of the 350 lot!:thumb:

alternately u can try aprillia125 front disc. u need to machine out a spacer about 10mm to space out the disc but pls use a 4pot caliper(again fabricate bracket to hold it) better stopping power. the 4UO caliper cannot make it due to its single piston floating design. take note u can't use the bigger disc on the left hand side due to the speedo hub on the rim unless u want to use a sensor type digital speedo.
