RZ or Rd is the same bike ,depend on is it a domestic jap or export model

i used to own a Non Ypvs model 10 years ago.

There was plenty of them in the 80s till mid 90s.

* Non ypvs 350 , less problem but limited to 45 hp.

* RD350F Ypvs , powervalves always snap ,aftermarket metal replacement needed , faulty YPVS servo is common , a good condition one will produce 59hp(almost impossible to find)

Both bikes were top choice of hell riders in the 80s because they are cheap to run .

What performs better in those days ?

- nSr 250

- Kawa KR1

- VFR nc24

- SDR200

- suzuki rg250

-

Why buy one in the 80s?

- Cheap to run

- Cheap to repair and lots of parts

Why not to Buy one Now ?

- Horrible fuel Sucker

- Parts hard to find

- 30++ year old bike

- skid every corner

This bike is not a fuel sucker! My full tank can last me 270km.

Spare parts easy to find,If u mix around wif Old Timer...

It's a vintage bike,Or U prefer S4,every one riding the same bike!(Like there's no other bike you can buy!)

If U skid every time, must B something wrong wif your Head!

I'm proud to own it till now,can service it on my own,And can OverHaul it even on my own!!!Don't U know that there's an RD Club in Singapore till now!We have around 35 active members and still Active!:thumb:

Well, I bought this RD350 a few weeks back

And to keep me busy, I bought an older 350 tong, which I am going to rebuild.

I have already stripped it down and had the frame and swing arm powder coated. New forks ready for it, and need to paint the wheels before starting the rebuild.

I didn't know there was a club!!! Do you have details?

Cheers

Dave
