guys, Is all the under tray same size/shape ? if i install under tray for my bike there won't be any compartment left under the seat right? Does the under tray have a mounting point for signal light and number plate? or i need to mod/create a place for them?

1. All come in different shape n style, only get the one for X11, due to the X11aerodynamic tail end curves.

 

2. Depend on tail end shape n taillite used, reduced space for some, even none.

 

3. No mounting point for license plate, metal bracket can be replaced, usually secure together with signals.

 

Well, iundertray quite a tedious job to do for X11, cos entire battery compartment required to modify n removal. Depend of which shop to do it, also type/model of undertray. Kim Keat cut the stock under piece which hold the battery n slide the undertray beneath, quite a tidy job i can say.

thanks for the info..in order to have the sporty looks, i had to remove my box .So will consider again on the mod of the undertray careful..whelther i want the looks or the covenience of the box..

dose philip type of undertray/tail light require to cut the stock fender batt compartment ?

i thought undertary was an complete rear fender assy just remove org tosck fender and install new one only..didn't know that it will cause so much of sperms

 

so many things need to relocate..seat release key hole , signal light , number plate...

err ... undertray is just a flat layer ... there are no slots to properly locate your ECU, and stuffs ... tats why Ah Hwee kept the old tail slots to properly house the ECU and stuffs in the undertray ... maybe one day if you see my bike at the carpark when you home, give me a beep and i'd show you the classic case of leave it all lying around in the seat compartment

Nice at the outside but junk in the other side.

 

Onli the original tail lite can be bolt on direct to the undertray, the rest of the item lay loose if u remove totally the stock cowl.

Actually true ... without the rear fender or mud flap cant pass the inspection but then most of the guys gave to kim keat to bring for inspection ... sure can pass ... take it from the horse's mouth philip, with his twin 32D headlights can also pass hahaha ...

 

for me the undertray without the rear fender, i take it myself to the inspection centre and pass also but maybe mine is big big plate ... so they close one eye ...
