Riding shoes i presume? High cut protects the ankle too. Last meet up, on the way to Simpang, i skidded a bit at a corner n with quick response my leg 'kick back' the road to uplift the beast again n balanced. I hv my Icon riding boots tat time, none of me was sprained or strained.

Just renewed my COE, $1517, just abt $50 lesser than what I got 10yrs back. WTF, the COE roving ard 1.5K region after the 10yrs journey.

Hi philiploic - so am I making a wrong move buying this bike? Hope not as I feel the bike fits me quite well and I like rare bikes=)

I need to service front brake caliper and change pads. Do you have any recommendation for me?

you've come to the right place.. think we here got most things for the X11 covered..

 

no wrong move.. good move.. cheap, good, fun bike, Honda reliability, many things can accessorize.. can't go wrong..

 

for servicing.. goto AMK Auto point 5th floor.. look for Ah Hwee at Kim Keat motors.. not the cheapest but he knows our X11 inside out..

any recommendation for brake pads? Accessorize? so far I don't see any for this bike hahah. That's why need to meet up so maybe you guys can point me to the right direction. I would like to get bellypan and undertray. My bike is completely bone stock. Now I focus on just make sure the wear and tear is done before mod.

This thread alive again...hehe. The 'mod' parts extinct since day 1 i rode it, importing them thru shops way unaffordable, almost 2x the price of the same things. Well, some miracle happened when i meet Philip.

 

Well, V-torque, try the AMK shop, Ah hwee willing to do the braided lines or troubleshoot our aged bike. For brakepad, I have been using Goldfren or Ebc, part number shld be the same as blackbird, DIY to replace them too.

HI all... im just wondering hows the overall performance of the bike? my dad has owned the bike for 3yrs n at last im gonna be able to ride it (due to insurance to ex last time)...

 

so im taking it to thailand end of this month... just wondering the fuel consumption at long distance and handling at speeds? im kinda of worried at speeds cos X11 dont have any visor or windshield....
