cuz its big enuf for a 2B! haha..well im a person tt like big bikes. I've been doing survey months b4 my tp, seeing which 2b bike act suits me. I like sports bike very much, R125, Aprilia,Mito and such were in my mind but not until i knw abt their otr prices and other espects. I'll leave those sportsbike til i get my cls2. Not much of 2b act interest me as there aren't much of a choices; wave, spark, rxz,sp,krr etc etc...some of them are facing out due to having a 2stroke engine. Actually to be getting a Phantom TA200, but after i pass...i did my last viewing of 2b bikes and re-confirm whether t settled down with TA200. Until i saw e pic of Comet, it looks like a CB400 size lol..biggg for a 2b and also checked out RW..both look abt e same.

 

so i went for a actual viewing of those bikes in shops on sat...saw a yellow comet parking outside a workshop...e oil tank dented at amk ind park 2. its nice with e big tires sure makes it stable. Sat on a black comet(2nd) at e showroom...feels good on it..just nice for my height. Alr had e thgt of getting it...and it is selling at 2k machine..i was like o.O...and was told tt a new mach cost 6k++...2nd cost 2k..wd a big drop. so i went ard searching for new comet...NO shop cater...and all say korea bike very leh ceh...i was thinking y leh ceh..is it cuz of spare parts or e design not suitable for local use. tt really blew my thgt of getting it if really tt hard to maintain. Tried on pulsar, cbr 150..still dun feel nice as e comet. Fz150i only can see...all sold. So my thgt was still at these 2 korea bikes..so told my dad tt kaki bukit has a shop tt caters RW...so went there and saw e black rw..my eyes are stuck on it..dad asked me to get a daystar as he can ride too if i wans ( he's a chopper guy) e boss intro me e 125 red rw sport too..but so ex..well well mind settled down with rw..and get it at BB..then ey got e new blue rw..so gotten tt..didnt had e chance to test or hear e sound tho..well well..payment made..no point having regret or wdsoever after tt..since i dun see much ppl complaining abt e bike in e forum. Collecting it today~~, but dun have e monthly coupon for my carpark...HDB 5 close..i need to wait for dad to fetch me down.zz....tmr then can get e coupon. so ya..tts basically how i choose rw as my first bike...just pardon me if its kinda long winded hahaha

roy recommended me chex9000 EO .. i tried it and i could feel the smoothness almost immediately. i think it's pretty good, but quite pricey at 23bucks per bottle.. so i tot maybe u all would like to try as well..

haha. i assure u that u have made the right choice! rw is super reliable and comfy to ride on. by the way, u mentioned Fz150i.. is it the fazer 150? it's out already?????

ya.. a little expensive.. haha. but i'm want to make sure i keep my bike in good condition.. so i decided to spend a bit more.. hehe. and i tell u, the riding feeling is totally smooth. very different from the EO's i tried earlier.. it's really good.

centre of sg, upper thomson road, for prata at prata house.

as the sun is hot and people gets busy in the day.. the time to meet

wah! if only my rw still working well.. haish. anyway!! i got a problem with my rw. my sprocket nuts are hitting my swing arm and which my sprocket is definitely spins in a funny way. i've change sprocket and chain ard 4 to 5 months ago, i've check with ah chuan cka BB, he told me that i need to change my rims in order to be in ride-able condition. i ask my fren abt this, most of it told me its the hub problem. so is rw hub really need to change with the rims? i was so pissed off and somemore i have to pay more to get the gold rims colour back. wtf. opinions guys?

Hi, wondering after I lub the chain, how do I prevent it from spilling onto the rims of my tyre.

 

Just polished my bike and lub the chain. Rode ard a bit and found that my rim dirty liao lol.

 

How much fc u all average for the roadwin? I already changed the filter and I think I am averaging ard 23-25 km/l. Dun know is it my riding style that is wrong or what. Any other things I shld look out for to improve FC?

 

How does engine oil affect the bike btw? what's the diff between semi and fully synthetic.

i dun think is fazer 150...e saw e pic on net..it has diff head. fazer 150 nicer if im not mistaken. e one i saw is fz 150i...so many sold whenever i visit a bike shop to checkout my bike and comet. I heard it cost 5700? maybe tts y it is so demanding for sale

I just passed me 2B a week ago and went around hunting for my first bike. I was contemplating between a Yamaha FZ150, Honda CBF150 and just today at 4.30pm, I was introduced to a Daelim Roadwin at BB branch. I have to get a bigger bike to suit me as I'm 34 yrs old, 1.8m tall and weigh 80kg I need the bike to go to work as driving a car is driving me nuts with the high maintenance and petrol costs.

 

So please give me a little feedback on this bike to assit me me in making my choice to get my first bike. Thanks in advance to you riders out who care to share

haha and rw sure is stable to ride on...rode back from BB cka just now...abit scared tho...super peak hour on e road..not used to e bike at all..but its really stable =) my expenses gonna be high t take care of it haha

still much better than castrol R4, almost equivalent to elf.

How do I check or tune my carb set up ? Not very good at this lol, took me one week just to find out how to adjust my throttle settings.

I also just got RW 2nd hand. My height and weight almost same as u, 28 years old here.

 

RW is my first bike, so I cant really compare. But so far I am quite satisfied with it. I think for a naked 2B bike, it really has the looks, and everytime when I ride on it. just feel damn shiok haha.

 

In my opinion, definitely better than all the NSRs, SPs, RXzs out there. Just dun expect it to be tat fast. Anyway, tats good also, prevents us from speeding.

 

Maintenance wise, there's always the CKA branches and I dun think it's that much more exp than other places. If there's anything u dun know, u definitely can pop by down here and I am sure Mr Soh and all the other RW brothers will definitely help u out there.
