need phone and GPS

i need a normal phone and also a GPS

 

should i just get a normal phone than buy external GPS device or get a GPS enable phone

get a gps enable phone.. coz gps receiver alone is 100-200.. then gps device is min 400.. then a phone is $$ u shld know..

is the "power" of a GPS enabled phone similar to a stand alone GPS unit ?

Look at D810. Newer ones come with GPS.

 

what u mean by "power"? battery or accuracy of the GPS?

i mean sensitivity and ability to lock on ... i have ruled out Dopod 810, going in favour of eten x500 or asus P535 as reviews seem better

built in softwares like ? where did u purchase ur set ? the GPS i understand comes with voice prompt ? but does it come with auto reroute ? and u mentioned u used blue tooth , is it a one side of the ear kind of thing ?

the latest dopod D810 is the one with GPS very good reviews so far.tyr looking it up!

Actually, nokia have this smart2go for download for 3rd gen phones. (with or without GPS). Got mine installed with Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand maps. Works great without GPS (N73ME).
