Same price as Yamaha Comm (Hong Leong). Any idea why didn't you get from them instead? The seat cushion is like a board .. damn hard but narrow. Its also low which I can flat foot completely. Was waiting for MT9 but I am quite disappointed with the quality somehow so looking @ mt07 as Boon Siew is not going to bring the CB1000R ... damn!

 

been a customer with them for long, and furthermore, i trade in my old bike..so can get better trade in value. was also tempted by the MT-07(looks superp to me) and initially wanted to wait for it but after giving some thought, the 2 cylinder made me changed my mind back to MT-09. as for the seat, am definitely gonna change it if it still feels like a board even after sometime..ahah

 

anyway, heard bout the CB1000R no longer coming to our shores, dunno whats the reason though.

Yes its good to stick to one moto tiam if they are good.

 

I saw lotsa yotube reviews on MT09 and many say that this bike is really powerful and torqueeeee (like a motard).. I think you will like it. Though BS is not bringing the CB1000R, they say to check with PIs. Anyway hope to see you on the road someday Fariel~

sidetrack, you can also check out the Honda CB650F. not sure if its coming to our shores though.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

No, it's different color scheme.

Only matte grey has grey fork if im not mistaken.

i asked my bike shop about the colours set-up & heres what I understood, those with stripes on the tank one comes with gold fork whereas the other 2 comes with silver fork.

Is that yours? Congrats, same color as mine.

I was initially quoted 21k by HL but then on the day I picked it up, price was reduced to 18.5k. They said initial price was estimation. 18.5k was official price after launch in sg.

Where is this? I just collected mine yesterday, matte grey.
