Fazer 8 is a parts bin bike. It's built from parts taken from other models. Mt09 is built from the ground up. Other models will be based on it. It's completely new machine with new technology compare to other models.

I honestly don't see any reason to buy fz8 now with mt09 available. Unless you buy 2nd hand and get a good deal.

If you buy new, prepare to lose a lot of money selling it.

I dont think the akra pipe is legal yet.

All aftermarket exhaust curently available for mt09 are full system. It's due to how the oem one is built.

No way for you to install an end can to it. And modifying the header yourself will definitely be illegal.

Hahaha .. you've got your goodies prepared already huh.

Will wait for your review of penske shock :).

I bought r&g sliders also, both sets. That's the first thing I bought. Crash proctection is always my first priority :)

hows the ergonomics riding position of the bike? is it reasonably comfortable with a pillion onboard?

hows does the seat feels like?

how are the brakes, throttle response?

Regards,

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

love the upright riding position. have yet to try with pillion while riding. only tried static & it was quite spacious. the seat feels great after a while of usage. the brakes, simply great but the throttle response, its snatchy in gear 1 & 2 especially in A & STD mode but controllable, just need more attention when closing & opening throttle. for B mode, its all the way smooth but power wise, not that fun though cause its a lot milder that the other 2 modes.

Other then those I mentioned above, the suspension is actually better now. It was quite bouncy when 1st rode, dont know what happened but dont think need to adjust the suspension atm. The bike is definitely light & agile..one of my fav stats of the bike :)

Cheers & Happy new year to all!

Just did first servicing today at HL. I thought it's gonna be free. I actually had to pay $55.50 for 2.66 ltr semi syn oil + oil filter.

Only labor is free.

If I knew, I'll probably go somewhere else.

Anyway, I'm getting used to the seat. My butt doesn't hurt anymore :D.

Will start to push the bike harder now.

Ride safely guys!
