Corrado. Thanks for the clarification. I will ask my Malaysian Kymco dealer to check with Givi for me.

Solaris : Yes I agree that the original looks the best. It gives the scooter a very sporty and aggressive look indeed.

Monktianak, refer to thread #1175 by j@n. I think givi oem for Kymco rack and high windscreen. They look same to me. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/09/06/2bfe0638dc096eea84364f6df37adf93.jpg

Well, one reason it might be very expensive or other reason might be they want to clear old 500 stock? The 500 windscreen just does not look right on the 400 imho. Is just me ya cause I have seen one on 400 before.

Yup, there is a hole right at the bottom of the windshield when mounted on the 400. Perhaps if there is a way to cover it up then it wouldn't look so bad.

So, the Big man has spoken. Anyone up for a joyride to KL?

I've never conveyed b4 so would appreciate if one of the more experienced riders here would like to take the lead in organising a trip to KL.

Givi windshield has reached Msia few months ago but they just brought few units maybe to test the market.it was sold out few days after because lots of xct owners are actually patiently waiting for the shield, 3mths down the road... & right now i think they are ordering & again, need to wait for another shipment from Italy....

Positive feedback base on my friend who bought the windshield..useful during highway cruising & heavy raining day...at least u wont feel the wind & water dropping on your helmet. Cons? Short tavelling in town/city will surely making your ride a bit hot, especially while on tick jacket.you'll sweating like hell..

Whatever it is, its your choice, u should think whether its suit your need or not...both also nice ma...

Just had my stock rear shocks of my Xciting 400i replaced with a pair of YSS shocks from Motor Sports at Ubi. Must say that it made a world of difference to the handling around corners and high speed runs on the highway. The handling felt almost as if I was riding on a sports bike with mono shocks. Thanks to Herbert and Wong for the recommendation.

Not lowered coz the YSS Shocks can be extended to the same height as the stock shocks. That was my criteria for changing the shocks as I wouldn't want to alter the steering geometry of the xciting.
