Hi, you can come into SG on weekdays anytime after 10am. you should be able to avoid ERP. no need IU already... on Saturdays and sundays, no need ERP unless you go into town on Saturdays

Do search for "Kymco Sg" in facebook and give us a "Like"

You can come in anytime between 10am - 12pm. If you want to come in at other time you can actually rent the money sucking machine aka ERP unit. You can check with http://www.onemotoring.com.sg for more details. Cheers.

Fixed ERP Fee for Foreign Registered Vehicles

Who is eligible for fixed ERP fee?

All foreign-registered car owners who do not have an In-Vehicle Unit (IU) installed.

How does the fixed ERP fee work?

You pay a fixed rate of S$5 daily when you use ERP-priced roads during ERP operating hours, regardless of the number of times you pass through the ERP gantries.

The fixed ERP fee will be deducted through your Autopass Card when you depart Singapore. Please note that the CEPAS Autopass Card is compatible only with dual-mode IU.

If you previously installed an In-Vehicle Unit (IU) in your vehicle, you will need to pay prevailing ERP fees based. Please visit ONE.MOTORING for details on ERP Rates.

What if I do not want to pay a fixed ERP fee?

You can choose to install an IU permanently in your car by visiting any authorised IU Service Centres.

:thumb:***You can also rent an IU in Woodlands or Tuas Checkpoint.

Visit ONE.MOTORING for details on ERP Rates.

Please note that rental of IU is only applicable for foreign-registered cars and motorcycles. Other vehicle types must have the IU installed permanently in the vehicles if they intend to pass through ERP gantries during ERP operating hours.

....Likewise yellow can trigger alarm bells in cops brain ;)

Bright colors are a safety must in the dark winter seasons. (I live in west europe)

Never had any problems before with cops, infect people that drive motorcycle here in winter season

own respect from the police. (max highway speed over here is 130km),

can drive about 10% faster without problems.

I have also Garmin Zumo gps, with radar/speeding/trajectory-control warning system.

Besides, in my country much people wear 'neon yellow' colored helmet/jackets for extra safety.

U got your ride already?

No not yet... like I've noticed before: december and pick up in first week new year.

Happy weekend everybody :)

Lucky for you J@n Kms 130+- 10%

Over here the average max is kms 90 and the cops are always waiting for you hiding behind trees, bush and even bridges to get you for speeding.

It is like their favorite hobby and always very excited too. They are less keen to apprehend people committing other types of offenses :)

The guys who rode to thailand is not in the forum but according to them, no problem at all. Comfortable crusing speed is ard 130 - 140 and the bike is capable of topping 170 as some of de guys here have tried. But it wuldnt b recommended if u have yr box on.

Normally the organiser or leader will take into consideration of the bikes in tye convoy to decides how many stops but if u r riding alone den its really up to u n de bike. How long can u tahan without stopping, how far can de bike go without refuelling etc.

Or u may say u want a relax ride since u not rushing for time. Generally i wud say 2 stops. One along de way for refuelling n just b4 u exit m'sia since yr petrol is so much cheaper.

Its good to practise riding non stop for at most an hour or 150km in distance then stop for a break.. cause by then ur concentration level will be low. you will need the break to help u get energised and prepare for the next 1hr or 150km.

Normal breaks depends on how far you tank can last, especially with high speed than normal traveling. Usually if you are coming from I would top up full tank before start of trip and the next rest stop will be in Pagoh. Then last stop at Gelang Petah top up full tank before you head in. The full tank should last you the whole trip in Singapore.

If I'm heading back to KL then I would do reverse. Top up in Gelang Petah, then Pagoh and head back home. It should be sufficient.

Thanks all of you. The smart thing to do as you gentleman suggest is to take two breaks. I shall take that advice.

Hallo guys,

I would like to share some pic's from original Kymco Xciting 400i high windscreen, article nr. 920018

http://imageshack.us/a/img51/157/5cv6.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img32/2054/wogf.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img14/8876/gqqw.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img12/8637/w2p7.jpg

Givi D6104ST 'screen shape' on picture below is different and they also not re-assemble black plastic screencover... The shape is about the same I had beforewe on my DT, and on picture it seems a view cm higher then Kymco's screen.

Url......: http://www.givi.co.uk/Screens--spoilers/Parabrezza-scooter-en/D6104ST

http://imageshack.us/a/img7/4702/v9r7.jpg

If you compare the Kymco high screen with the Ermax and Givi Xciting screens, the difference is that with Kymco's high screen you can re-assemble the black original plastic screencover.

For example: Ermax noticing onto fitting instruction PDF to NOT replace original plastic screencover.

I have no clue why they say to NOT re-assemble them, because I really like these plastic screencover, so sure my choice will be this Kymco screen.

Kind regards,

Jan :)

Oh last moment I also found this Biondi screen http://www.superauto.it/biondi/dettaglio.asp?ID=2248
