My perception of SV650 price is different from yours, what's the big deal?? Why kick a big fuss and make a ruckuss. I never asked for your opinion in the first place.

I was asking what happened to the SV650 on classified ads since so many is hinting to me its not worth buying, and I asked to PM me the details. Is that rude?? Did I asked anyone to post about the SV650 openly in the forum?? Then you jump into my post and give some rude and irrelevant comment. You tell me who is the one being rude and impolite here??

All along I been talking about the $3k SV650 on classified ad, if you are not refering to that $3k SV, then which one are you refering to?? Do you mean all SV which sells at $3K sure got problem is it, and your SV is the best on the road is it??

Go view the bike to find out if it fits your own perception of a 'good bike' that you would not mind spending your money on. Which is more important? The 1001 things we say about a bike you've never laid eyes on, or the gut feel you get when you see the bike with your own eyes, touch it and test ride it around some side road or carpark? Why make so many moot enquiries when you can find the answers yourself a mere phonecall away?

Call. View. Then decide. It's gonna be your ride. No one here, rude, selfish or helpful is going to be the ones living with the choice if you decide to get the bike and it turns out to be a huge lemon.

No point arguing here. Your knowledge regarding the bike's condition doesn't improve with each acerbic comment made here.

BTW Kazuhiko,

the battery is Yuasa (YT12A-BS 12V 10A). Can buy from Ah Boy quite cheap, abt $80-$90.

You can give him the model number or say Hayabusa's battery. Don't say SV650, wait he think SP150.

$80 - $90?! :help:

What's the commotion about?

1 man willing to spend 3k(no joke, sounds like one) on SV650,

5 others tell him very difficult, :nono:

try the Blue one 5 man said, but Blue bike don't look too good they warned.

1 man claim we trying to tell him Blue bike no good,

and claim SV no value like his 750WP(sold for 1.7k? poor man), :weep:

1 man doesn't want to view Blue bike and ask x 100 questions.

Anyway, SV riders are not friendly to other road users anyway, and there aren't enough to find a nice one.

F..... speak for yourself KooTeowMan.

Usually we're nice people,

Come together for coffee and nonsense,

Kooteowman and me will fish together,

Often meet up for coffee,

Forging friendship along the way,

Friendly people we are, really!

Come join us if you have time,

Having fun and making friends together,

Everyone also happy,

All together make merry,

Peace to the world I say,

Oh everyone agrees!!!

Actually 3k can buy a proper SV, BUT have to spend on the servicing n repairs la...

Depends on riders, for me, i dun mind spending on repairs, cos if it gets rectified properly, got the assurance that it can last at least for a year. :goodluck:

Remus used to have legal pipe for SV400, saw it in their first copy of catalogue at Motoworld, tt time the salesman quoted me $650.

The more I ride my SV, the less I care about going to the annual bike show and looking at new,

or expensive, or exotic machinery. I'm continuing to mod my bike into exactly what I want it,

and enjoying every mile I put on it.
