We should stick to the old logo. New logo will suck big time for the old timer. The sense of belonging won't be there. I was quite pissed of when my secondary school logo was changed. Doesn't identify me from that school anymore. Same concept here.

The idea was not to replace the old polo tee..That will still be ongoing to the new members.. what I had in mind was ANOTHER polo tee or pit crew design that was suppose to be unique to wadi n phyo's term as committee.. So at least, those who already has the old polo tee, can also purchase this one.. can help raise funds as well..

 

And since I know phyo is artistically inclined, i tot it'll be good to have it created to be abit more unique than our current one..

The design that I took was also abit modified as I cant find the exactly font.. So I think its good to preserve the file in PSD, or those readily editable format..

Ok go! I think if u wanna do it, u gotta start planning and get commitments before the exams, so people can make arrangements for it.. bcoz i believe most will plan their holidays even before the exam begins.. Prolly those Weekend stayover are best..

I still don't find it a point getting a newly revamped design of a polo T to mark Phyo's committee. If that should be the way, then every 2,3 committee cycles must design a new shirt. It's totally distinguishing old members and new members together.

 

New members wearing new shirt and old member comes in from outing and wear the 1st edition polo T with pride saying "I'm an old bird". Surely the new bird won't have pride wearing that new design polo T.

 

I'm not hinting I'm lazy to go through the process of another T-shirt designing. This is just my honest opinion when my organisation change their T-shirt design.

 

But if Phyo's commitee is making a new Pit Crew shirt, I'm all for it. Another polo T? No.

Yo bro, just to clarify.. There is obviously no intention of making distinctions between old bird or new birds or what not.. My main objective and concern of initiating this was to primarily to raise funds for the club.. As you know, we need funds to start a booth in Matric Fair, as well, as for misc club expenditure, if need be (i.e. ur proposed banners and such).

 

It is not to mark someone's presidency or wad.. We are just an interest club, which means, we will need our own funding for our own activities, if need be.. I dun see by wearing different polos to outings, will differentiate old birds or new birds in anyway bro.. It's not like we are phasing out the old tee..Just something like a fund raising tee, you may call it..

I think you can still carry out the plan if u guys are still keen for it.. The last i put votes for the pit crew, there seem to be good response, but i got hindered from putting it to actions due to my FYP case study.. If you want, you me and wadi can work it out, together after your exams..
