btw guys.. im kinda confused.. im using a maxima chain wax. heard by sum that its better to use chain lube than wax.. im still unclear about the truths in these claims.. coz maxima chain wax also puts.. "Lubes chain" as well..

 

quite concerned coz nowadays keep rainy n my chain is abit messy..

 

I'm using chain wax too... now my sprocket is green-ish thanks to the wax Apparently chain wax isn't so good because since it doesn't fling, it retains all the dirt and grime on the chain =S

Something is happening with regards to the management of NUSriders...Will update you guys soon. Meanwhile, Wadi, good suggestion on a big outing before Mugging. Have you got any ideas? Lets take turns to organise outing. This club(or interest group) have a place in the hearts of each of you. I am sure about it. If not you guys wouldnt be posting here, nor taking mags for each other, nor making fun of ppl's bike. Let us maintain and keep the club going. We can do it together. Yes we can.

im using maxima chain lube. its disappointing cos they claimed non-flinging technology. my rims n left side rear tyre always will kena fling, even after lubbing while the chain is hot n leaving it overnight to let the excess drip off.

i used both maxima chain lube and maxima chain wax before.

 

chain lube flings a lot man...maxima chain wax much better in my opinion.

Scott Oiler best lah. No fling, and lasting chain. No matter how u lube with chain lube, its still one shot putting a lot and waiting for the next time to lube it. How to prevent flinging leh?

First, I would like to bring upon you guys attention that this is a transition committee, as there are NO or NOT MUCH juniors for them to pass down. I will do my best to work things out and get a recruitment drive going so that BABE-STARVED people like ISSAC and PPLATER will be committed to the club. There are a few things I would like to say.

 

1) President - Please don't regard me as a PRESIDENT for I simply hate this title. Call me dog, pig ,**** or what ever. Just not PRESIDENT.

 

2) Nusriders Forum - The NUSRIDERS forum is DOWN at the moment. Please bear with it as I am looking to get another domain for us Probably DOT COM. This I will have a good talk with Wadi after exams. (Wadi don't think you can siam. I know you work alone best, like spidey, so I hope you can help me out on this.)

 

3) Matriculation Fair - I have replied to OSA and we have a booth. This year is not going to be just tables and chairs. I hope all my brainy riders can come together to brainstorm during an outing after exams. =)

 

4) Last outing for the sem - Faz and I are working out the details for a final gahering before the mugging begins. So the official announcement will be made then. Let's gather for one last time before we bury ourselves in books alright. Most likely it will be on Thursday night as we leave the Friday night free for you guys to go out with you loved ones.

 

I will try my best to maintain the status (hopefully improve) of the club. However, you guys know I can' do it alone. Even with the committe, I hope we can work towards getting more people to join us and have fun. The support I am having now is great (esp from Stan CS Wei Quan). I will work hard and I know the club have a place in your heart. =)
