Can't afford to get the bigger cc. The M695 is already near $20k

Guess I will have to drop by Minerva to have a feel before deciding.

 

 

 

Never had a dilemna buying a car but when it comes to getting a bike - big headache.

 

Started with the Class 2 maxi scooters, the fell in love with the Red Monster

and now colleague ask to get the Harley Sportster instead. haha:faint: :

frankly if you wan to chose betwn a harley sportser, and Duke, I suggest a duke...Thats what i did. even thou i got a old 400 and initial and current headache, i still think i made a happy choice.

U don hav to buy anything, just ride down to Minerva..

U go there just hang around wif the other Ducatitians..

Well the Duke's world is not only about Minerva & Tiffany:thumb: alone rite..

U've been there like 2wice only.. how can u know them that well..

Let alone the boys who ride Dukes, Dude..

Btw don compare Mah & Minerva..

They hav a very different marketing stratergy..

U nvr know rite..

Btw does Mah offer u drinks if u go there?

Minerva's does.. Sumtimes the Ducati boys they order pizza's & we eat together there..

We just don care who orders it man..

Then we talk abt our machines..

Get what you want and can afford, don't get what you think others would like to see you on. You are not living other people's dreams, but your own. Don't break your bank too; especially over a hobby.

 

Unless you want a new bike, I feel that a 1000 cc Monster (even tho pre-owned) would offer better value. Generally bikes loses half their value within the first 3 years then the depreciation tapers off.

 

Good luck on your purchase, and take your time to buy a bike, don't rush into these things.

I appreciate your advise to know them better. What I meant is to translate wat the prevs post might mean. In real life which I think you might agree the first impression is impt. Frankly that was the first impression I got. I didnt evaluated them yet. I take it as it is. Futher more I think Ismail made a good impression to me even thou.....

To me the best modell or rather the only model if i were to ride is the sportster cause any bike for leisure or easy riding has to have a certain level of handling.

Has anyone tried to use another type or design of headlight and tried insppection b4? I wanted to change mine to the scrambler type(alien) but was told it was spotlight by nature so will fail

Hi kish_garfield,

I used to have a monster 400 somewhere last year.

Bike was mod with something like scrambler type headlight (2 bulbs, top and bottom) and also high mount exhaust.

 

Went thru inspection, and it didn't gave any problem. Oh well, it depends on luck maybe.
