Whenever I'm riding, I'll hear somewhat like loose chain, alot of noise. But when I checked my chains last night, it was very tight, no slack at all? I did complain to Michael, so I suppose he tightened for me.

 

What I'm puzzled is that why am I hearing all that noise when I ride leh?

 

I would usually change both sprockets and chain. Last time I changed for my super 4 lasted from boxing day 2002 till now as I oiled it regularly. I used DID X Ring that time.

hope that this message reaches all of you out there in good time! I want to sell off my Ducati monster 400. Its a 98 model and has a one of a kind spray paint which i personally guarantee you will not find any other on the streets. Its in immaculate and prestine condition. Of course like most italian performance bikes its comes standard with brembo brakes and brembo rims. Front and back standard factory spec showas. My bike's still got the stock chain and sprockets. Yes ... it's DID and AFAM.

 

Jade, might want to go for second opinion. i heading to minerva soon. let me know if you wanna go too.

To be safe, have the ur chain slack on the loose side if you're unsure.

 

Too tight and you'll have to break the engine apart to change

the damaged bearings.

Jade : Sounds like an overtightened chain to me. It MUST have at least 2cm of slack with you sitting on the bike.

He asked me to go down on Monday to have a look again. He'll check it out if it's a factory fault.

 

The other time he replaced something, and said that the last bike shop didn't do a good repair job. Previous owner sent to Bike Connektion(is it spelt this way?).

yeah mine last me 2-3 years for abt 40000km

 

if u oil and lube it well!

i guess the track session starts at 3pm and will end at 4pm if nothing goes wrong
