How are your fuel consumption like for monsters? I was told it's similar to Super4, but not so leh....

logically v twin consum fuel much more den the others...

but a monster.. i not really beri sure.. hha..

My fuel indicator lights up at 240km?? I usually pump up to 14L of petrol....

240 / 14 = 17.14km/litre!!!

 

My reserve light usually lights up at around 280, then can go another 80km before I seriously start to worry. Most I've tried is 390 out of a full tank (17 litres to the brim). Best consumption was 24km/litre, but I usually do mostly street riding, very little expressway riding (expressways are boring!), so consumption drops to 22-23km/litre.

 

The newer Ducatis seem to drink more. Alyssa's 03 Monster does 20km/litre.

But thats provided I ride slowly. Using 14/39 sprocket also, so pickup is not as good

 

When I was on 14/43 sprockets, consumption was around 22km/litre average. Hard street riding (In Malaysia ) can drop consumption to 20km/litre.

280 km and light comes on ..... i believe that there is another 3 litres of reserve.

almost same as a F4 1000 S lehz...
