Yes, for that price you can get a brand new 999 already.

But the bike is really in very very good condition, I've seen it afew times already. And no, I wouldn't want to test ride a bike I'm not going to buy :D , imagine yourself in the seller's shoes, everyone just come test your bike for the sake of it without buying....

If sprocket worn out, better change. And pse change the whole set. both front & back + the chain.

lol... maybe i should be posting over at mito side... lol...

well... i not really expert in seein when the chain will gif way..

of cos.. i will not allow it to stay at maximum pull all the way lahz...

cos its over strained liaoz...

its juz personal preference... juz like changin tyre..

some ppl feel.. usin diff type of tyres (front n rear diff) may cos diff wear

n tear or watever... so its still best to change both to the same...

but still got ppl use combi one.. so its personal preference again..

but i agree dat diablo corsa is really gd..

wanna try michellin pilot sport... :cheeky:

pilot sport very good.. lol.. using them now... really very good man...

and the threads also damn deep and the thread design damn chio... haha...

but the front tyre, even though the threads are damn deep, the front got very very very little threads... looks like its bald... but if you see properly, the threads are like 2-3mm deep.. but its damn small... and really very very little... i go to alot of bike shops to ask before.. they say its supposed to belike that... lol... they all say its new...

kinda scary... but its very sticky... rode on wet roads before.. right after rain... come back tire warm warm one... very sticky also...

but the front tyre really ah.. see liao very stress... hahaha... its like racing slicks... with tiny little deep lines in them... lol...

alot of ppl tell me not to play when the ground is wet... cos the front might not be able to handle wets... but so far so good leh... haha... die lah... keep playing.. hai....

From then to now...

Its better to change both sprockets together with chains. Proper chain tensioning is very important too. An overtightened chain can wear out prematurely, and wear down the sprockets too. Not to mention the danger of the chain snapping, which can be very dangerous (and expensive).

An overly slack chain might jump out of the sprocket, so have it tightened to the correct tension. When fully loaded (pillion, rider and load), the chain should have about 1 to 2 cm of slack to allow for suspension travel. Many bike shops overtighten chains, leading to premature wear of chains.
