Hmmm i personally didnt feel much of a diff. A slip on like mine will not have much added horses as i didnt install a jet kit to regulate the mix with more petrol. But the sound is hell of a different....both from the airbox n exhuast

i dont think termignonis sound the best on dukes. Maybe the ofiicial performance exhuast for duke is termignoni n all duke sound nice on them. i bet the dukes will sound nice too on any other brands

You obviously havn't heard Carbon Fibre Termignoni slipons :D

Ok, I'm biased, but i've heard other brands before, and I seem to like carbon termis more than others. even titanium and steel Termis.

My 2 cents' worth .. it's a risk versus consequences thingy. Small risk of being stopped by TP, but if there's any booking, it's not a $50 fine, but a $500 one.

It's akin to an eye operation ... small risk of 0.5% things will go wrong, but of they do go wrong ....

For me it's pure economics .... $500 relative to value of my bike ... hmmmm. Anyway, with stock pipes i'm already quite embarassed in the morning when I warm up my bike. hope my neighbours won't mark my bike and vandalise it. So i live with the less rich sound of stock pipes.

Cheers

rrr was using Stainless Steel Termis. Mine is oval Carbon Fibre slipons, so the sound is very different.

Sound can be noise to some, music to others. You guys should hear a Ducati 900Supersport going through the twisties. Maybe if LTA hears it they will allow us to install them on public roads!

You can recognise the sound of a Ducati anywhere.

yeah man... esp the slipper clutch sound...

slipper clutch + exhaust sound... definitely a duc... lol...

Yeah, once i heard this wonderful exhaust along the road, turned my head and recognised the wonderful twin exhausts.

so far I've seen monsters parked at the following places:

a. dark M400 at Anson Road, behind bus-stop

b. red one at 2nd Street, siglap

c. yellow one at Sunnysprings

d. red S4 at International Plaza

each time, a head turner!

Yo, if install K&N filter muz modify airbox or not?

Cheers

Slipper clutch have sound? i tot its the dry clutch that makes it. Anyway if u r talking abt the black piece of carbon fiber that cover the exhuast, its just an EXtra accessory to protect ur leg from the pipes. i got burned once by that part when i was reversing my m4 without that black piece....=.="

5000km oil change

10,000km oil filter, air filter and valve clearance check

20,000km belt change

I change my oil every month, cos I ride everyday. Clock average 2500km a month. Oil filter is changed every other oil change, so my servicing intervals is every 10,000km, about $400-$600 job depending on how much work needs to be done.

hi sols

when r u getting ur 2a?hope u pass soon.i was using a pair of titanium termis and i removed the logos for tactical purposes but a good deal of help that did...:cheeky:

it's much lighter than stock n have tried them out at PG,a 900SS was pretty impressed with the sound alt not the lap times haha...mayb we can go when u get ur 2a we arrange for a trip. i think it helps to understand the handling of the bike n certainly the limitations
