Hey michael, glad to see you're making the bike yours. What've you done to it so far?

 

Moto-v is a riding group, they will meet up at ECP Carl's junior tonight. Some of us will be there, just go down and look out for the ducatis...pm h@nn for details.

 

sup!

 

- resprayed the cowl

- respray/repaired the front fender

- fixed the carb balancing issues

- replaced fuel filter (rust issues)

- valve clearance (again... i know...)

- integrated LED turn indicators with side mirrors

- short LED rear turn indicators

- revised tail chop kit without metal beam

- replaced the tail light

- one pass detail

- frame scrub

- engine scrub

- tidied up the electronics (heat-strink fish net coming soon)

 

tempted to :

- pod filters conversion

- keihin 39mm (or a mikuni?)

- termis or something that helps it breathe better

- frame respray

- engine respray

- and finally a full detail

 

any suggestions?

- pod filters conversion - will have A/F ratio issues which are diff to rectify

- keihin 39mm (or a mikuni?) - not available locally. only 1x FCR 39 and 1x mikuni 41 in sg as far as i no.

- termis or something that helps it breathe better - legal option - GPR.

- frame respray - drop engine involved, prepare minimum 2k

- engine respray - same as frame respray

 

the above is a heavy investment. do consider wisely.

thanks for the tip.Go by mileage for service or got come out spanner on the speedo? So its 4 bottles of EO,4 plugs,anything else? How much roughly?

 

Hi Bro, sorry for the late reply. i nomarlly change oil every 1500km. without changing oil filter is 3 bottle and when change oil filter is 3.5 bottle. 2 spark plug only. 3 bottle abt $75 and depend what plug u use.

looking for what exactly?

 

Looking for a bike for some weekend fun, with reasonable power, below 1000cc.

Eyeing the Harley, Triumph and Ducati but yet to decide. :)

Any recommendation based on your experience? :thumb:

Imho, vtr firestorm, ducati m900, s4, s2 in that order;)

okay - then maybe something simpler -

 

1 x dynacoils for better sparking

1 x electrosport regulator (regulator was dead. battery over charging at high rpm)

 

 

frame wise can DIY sand down and rebuff.

won't touch engine.

 

tidy up the wiring etc.

HD - XR, needless to say

Triumph - Speed Triple is the key choice

Ducati - Monster line up, plenty to pick from.

 

I think you already have them on your list, lah! haha

 

My pick was the S4Rs but i was 2 days late and a super low mileage and clean S2R came by. so the deed was done

I'm a total noob on Rizomas thought it was at least $250 and I dont want it.

 

Doesnt make much diff to me so :-

 

 

Rizoma sportline grips for sale. $50 then.

I was itchy finger on Sunday and I went downstairs and removed by exhaust.
