The Guzzi? Awesome. I loved the look of it the first time I saw it even though it was covered in bird crap and what not.

How did you do? I checked your bike today, it's still in one piece. Michael said he's working on it early next week. Parts are here, I'll pass them to him on friday.

Thanks for getting the parts down to Michael, although next week may be better since he might misplace parts.

You like the Guzzi too? Seems too big and bulky but a good bike if you are not in a hurry.

When it comes to bikes, I only see red…

Ivan, purists wouldnt go for the 696 mostly cos of the plastic tank, tho its supposed to be as torquey as the older m900. 20k run in one year may mean the bike is well used, and probably time for full service inc valve shimming, changing of bearings or worn parts etc. You may want to consider this bugger's s2r 800 here http://www.singaporebikes.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=6658&cat=15 as an alternative. Seems like a good honest deal.

Personally, I prefer the older ducatis as there is a more solid feel and grunt as compared to the modern ones. Just go with what suits you best. View a few ducs and see which strikes your fancy. Good luck.

Thanks alot for the great info h@nn!

It's just probably the looks of the 696 that makes it more 'cool' then the older series.

Do hv a point there whereby older duc's hv much more of the tough look man.

Would definitely look around for monster's available and decide man.thx!:D

Hi all,

Thank you H@nn, bike is well maintained yes ;)

My opinion is that the previous Monster is more 'unique', especially with the mono-arm and the side exhausts !

Have a nice day,

Damien

Btw, anyone interested in a 400 SS? May be the only one in singapore. I just met the current owner over the weekend, she doesn't know how to appreciate the bike at all. Feel kinda sad that it has to be stuck with her. Probably can get it for ~3k.
