just got my m400 just now...while riding i noticed sthm...ok so here's the dumb Q...where the hells the redline on the monster? ?? ?? mine's a 02 model...i was kinda hesitant to drag it over 10k...

Erm, I think its 10500. Theres no rev limiter, so be careful not to over-rev the machine.

The 400cc Monster can rev higher. Mine doesn't have an RPM meter, so I don't know what RPMs I'm doing, but I don't rev the heck out of it anyways. Heart pain!

Theres no need to rev it like that anyways, theres enough torque to shortshift most of the time.

I'm good Fri evening for quickie, until 7.30pm. Sunday is cool too. As for location, may i suggest KTM? it's central, and parking's great. I live in the east, but don;t mind travelling.

I suggest Sunday cos' this thread was started to cure "Sols" boredom. Sunday seems better for him. I do stand corrected.

Cheers

Guys .... It was good seeing you guys, sorry that I had to scoot off early. Really cool to see fellow duke riders out there. Hope that you guys had a good dinner and pow-wow.

Anyway, one of the subject raised was the possibility of a Duke track day. I'm no trackie, but I can help to organise one if necessary, as I have friends who are trackie. Let's see how it goes?

Hope to meet up again, and get to know you guys better.

Ride safe.

Cheers

Hey everybody!!! Thanks for making this meeting a success! Wonderful to see so many Ducatis in one place and all the music of pipes. Glad that many people turned up. We have to make it monthly meetup soon but someone else has to organise it cos I am away in sep.

Keep Riding! :goodluck:
