The 55 profile size started off with the 06 model. Basically the higher profile allow the rider to have a bigger lean angle. More contact patch on the tarmac during lean.

Judging from the trend, profile of performance tire will get higher and higher. Dunlop Sportmax already have a 190/60 profile tire in production.

Size like 125/80 front and 195/70 rear are also available.

Hi,

I thought the 55 profile is also stock for the '04 model?

Thanks!

Whoa....60 also have already meh? So tall profile. Suit for normal road riding or not? I heard that if the tire is too tall, then after sometime (with centre part being flat after usage), the tire will behave sluggish.

That's why most bike makers still have 50 as stock for normal road use riders.

Correct me if I am wrong.

These "taller" profile are more track focused tire whereby the bike is leaning most of its time.

Play track...sure 600 better than 1000.

1000 a bit difficult to play track...to much torque and power. Must be real expert..than only can.

But 600...more manageble at Track.:shades:

But then again......600 tire not fat ley....:pity:

1000 tire more fat:thumb:  :bounce:

Legal as in the bike is road worthy, registered and has valid road tax and insurance. Legal as in i have a class 2 license.

Apart from that...ehhh...the riding itself is not very legal sometimes. For god's sake it's an instant license kantong if we redline it in 1st on the expressway.

Awesome.

OTR is dependent on your insurance (Your age, NCB if any). Machine price should be about $22K - $22.8K

I suggest you make a trip down to each of the dealer to have a clear breakdown of the bike purchase package each could offered.

Presently, I have not heard of any parallel importer bringing Kawasaki ashore yet. However, popularity for this make is growing at an atonishing rate in the local biking community.

Kawasaki is becoming a dominant trend and standard setter for motorcycle design since the introduction of ZX-6R back in 2003.

The 04/05 ZX-10R stamped its authority in the 2004 & 2005 Master Bike shootout.

ZZR-1400 raised the bar further up the pole for the hypersport category. Despite its ferocious appearance, it is super duper easy to ride and handle. (Neo can back this up)

The up-coming 1400GTR Concour is set to lead the sport tourer pack to a new frontier.

I can't wait to get my hands on the Versys!
