i seen people spraying the whole IU black. actually i intend to do that to mine as well cos it stick out like a sore thumb on my bike with no fairing in which i can hide it. i even thght of hiding it under the seat but just afraid it will not be able to work as well beneath it and end up paying fine..

By all means spray the IU black if you feel it looks better.

Just be aware that by doing so, you will be voiding the 5-year warranty on your IU, because it has been tampered with.

 

If sway sway your IU KO, you will need to fork out cash to replace it.

how much for the pouch? I think i've asked b4 around 15 for it and installation..wonder if its worth it or not cuz no idea weather proof.. also where can i find the transparent plastic cover for the IU?mine's kinda yellow and blur..

seen few IU which have been sprayed color to match the bike color....mine frm far see,can see the IU outstanding in its stock color:cheer:

sprayed my IU black to fit my bike colour.. so far can pass thru erp gantries and shopping malls gantries.. no problem..however. by doing so, u'll spray the IU identification number on the side of the unit which is used for verification purposes.. in other words.. like kiamh said might avoids your warranty..

or to play safe, juzzwheelz is selling the skins, sticker which covers the whole iu unit. at least if there is a need to verify the identification number can just tear the sticker out.
