I am suggesting a meet up session on coming tuesday night 30/04/13 (eve of labor day).

 

Here is a plan of mine in mind.

 

10pm: Gather at yishun dam.

 

10.45pm: Move off for supper/kopi @

1) Macdonald Changi Airport Terminal 3. ($1.30/Entry)

OR

2) Macdonald Ang mo kio ave 10. (Pavement Parking only.)

OR

3)Hari Karim indian muslim coffee shop, Ang mo kio ave 10 (Pavement and generous lot parking available.)

OR

4)Jalan Kayu Prata coffeeshop. (Lot and road side parking available.)

 

12.30am: Head to JB via woodlands for touch and go top up of petrol.

 

1.30am: OTOT/ Home sweet home.

so far i yet to test out my bike at high speed (exceeding 150km/hr).

from my point of view, fjr surprising is quite suitable for sg riding. At 100km/hr it only hits ard 3.5k rpm and at 140km/hr if i remember correctly, is ard 4.5k rpm. I think the engine capacity and refined of the gears ratio in later models have made the bike able to cruise better at high speed without the present of the number sixth gear.

Got used to it. The power band for gears 2 to 5 are pretty wide so you can drag it quite a bit. Just have to get used to twisting the throttle without kicking up a gear.

Its about 33k +/- a few k. So far I've seen silver and black OTR.

What i was told at HL that there are 4 colours available. Black, Grey, Looks like Dark Maroon & looks like Jade Green.
