Hi Kelvin,

 

I will like to feedback the service I received during last year Dec at Ubi.

change quite a few things

- tyre

- coolant flushing

- front brake pump and brake

- engine oil

- hel brake hose

- tyre bearing and dust cover and etc

 

 

1st disappointment

I went to UM for replacement of both tyres. Before your mech start replacing my bike front tyre, I notice that front wheel is manufacture in the mid of 2008 and back tyre is manufacture in end of 2009. I request for the change of tyre to the same year (2009), but without checking, your mech inform me that UM have no more stock. I was surprised to hear that as I notice there are at least 10 pairs of tyre of the same brand and model that I want. Only till I insist and show him where the stock are, then your mech very reluctantly changed for me.

 

2nd disappointment

Your mech seem to finish his job in a hurry manner and he has forgotten to flush my coolant. Till I clarified with him on the service he done on my bike and then he realize that he forgotten to did that part and push my bike back to continue. If I didn’t double check with him, think I will be paying for nothing.

 

3rd disappointment

Your mech damaged my bike side panel paint work (a deep cut believe cause by screw driver) during servicing on my bike. He chooses to keep silent about it. I only notice that when I back to my place in the evening during cleaning of my bike from the oily fingerprint/palm markings left by your mech. I could not get back to you immediately as I need traveling oversea the next day early morning. I am very disappointed that this indicated that your mech are not very professional enough to admit the damage he done during his service. Besides that, he also give me the wrong seat which I believe the seat belong to other customer.

 

Sorry for being long winded, but what I want is to provide genuine feedback on the service I received and hope that will improve your mech service/workmanship in the future.

hi boss, last fri i went down to your workshop @ kaki bukit to had my sprocket changed but I am facing some problems now. I was the customer who changed the last set of Vortex sprocket. And according to your mech, " he told me that my current sprocket(before change) and the sprocket that i am changing is actually the same( the sizing) BUT now, i am facing a major problem. Can you give me an explanation to this? The situation when i clock with my fren and my speed was 95km/h and my fren speed was 85km/h. so there was a DIFFERENCES of 10km/h. why is it so?

hi , i need storage for my gsr 400, may i know whether th rack for gsr is diff from other bike? and wat is the cost of the rack?

today, i had a great experience servicing my drz at your workshop at autobay. i did the jd jettings, 3x3 mod, pair removal, had my first engine oil change (i'm still running in my zee), changed my mirrors, tail light and signals. i had anticipated the service will take more than 3 hours but you guys did it lesser than that. i had never came across such a workshop that serves drinks to its customers and a lounge (complete with sofas and air conditioning) for us to watch motogp! the mechanics were friendly and polite when answering my queries.

 

i truly had a unique experience with unique motorshop and i will definitely visit there again for my next servicing.

 

kudos to shawn and the mechanic which serviced my bike (sadly, i forgot to ask his name).
