today's meet up..

cannot see my bike?!?

i knew i should have bought the SE K700I last nite! then today can snap pics until i song song!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ANyway other than the #$%#@$^% weather....today's outing was very spontaneous and rather organised although it was such a BIIIIG group (23 bikes consider big anot?)

Kudos to everyone who was so cooperative and ONZ thru-out it all and 3 cheers for TAchi for taking the pains to organise Force V4 Club SG's 1st Meetup. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

It was a real eye opener seeing how everyone tune and personalise thier RVFs differently.

Hi V4 riders! I was extremely happy with the turn out. Actually we didn't expect sooooo many to turn up rite Shay??

Special thanks to Ghost rider for being so spontaneous with his group and leading the ride to the different locations.

I especially like the 'race specials' like the Camel yellow and blue RVFs and a couple of really nicely airbrushed bodywork!!

Notable at the event was the attention we got from the showgoers when Force V4 turned up in force! I will ask Wildcard to post the pics for us.

Perhaps its time we got our own Group designation in our profile called "Force V4"

What do you all think? I will send the request to the moderators.

Also, can all of you guys who have taken pics please mail it to me at

[email protected]

I will send the pics to Force V4 Japan and hopefully we can see our pics displayed in the Japanese website.

Anyone serviced yr RVF at Honda Agent Boon Siew before? How is the service and pricing like? They got "cut like carrot" or not?Sorry guys didn't get to join y'all for the anniversary thingy. My "Baby" has been sick.Headache for me and my pocket.Tmr going back to my mecha again.4th time in 8 days liao!

The 1st time, carburattor felt like choked, went to wash, unchoke and retune.Changed 4 plugs.Everything seems OK.

NExt day same thing but worst, when stop at traffic light, engine dies.Must play throttle.Send again, this time my mecha said that fuel tap/c*** spoilt, leaking petrol to tube(vacuum) leading to block. This was wat he suspected at first when i send my bike in the 1st time, but no signs of leakage. So he only unchoke the pins in the carburattor.Changed fuel tap/c*** ($135!) and 1 burnt plug.

3rd time,1st and 2nd gear cannot drag more than RPM6 if not the choking feeling will come again. My mecha tested OK,then i tested oso OK.

Nevermind, this morning, when i started my bike, same choking feeling again. All the way, today i ride, the bike felt like choking or like air filter clogged. But air filter only 11,000km.Suspect oso the same plug burnt.

Help me RVFians!Spent $400++ already.Tmr donno how much liao!

dude..

from what you described about your problem, it sounds like your carbs are out of syncronization. This can result in inconsistient filling and burning fuel/air mixture in the combustion chamber. The result is vibration, loss of power, unable to rev freely and in serious cases, the plugs get burnt.

Get a reliable mech who uses a vacuum gauge to do the syncronisation. But I would prefer if you describe the other settings and previous service history so I can trouble shoot.

But actually my mechanic is ok.Very reputable.Since he is paid on monthly basis and not commission,he takes his time to look at my bike.Been goin to him for nearly a year.Remembers all the detail of wat he has done for my bike.So how bout Boon Siew?Nobody go there and service?

u guys left for other places after marina south? i am one of the 3 who went to play pool .. din realise u guys left until one of us went out to look. arr.. never call us. shay bo call me .. neh neh

it was a great outing with so many of you .. esp the attention we got ..

anyway, just a tot from myself. perhaps the next time we had such a huge turnout or any turnout in fact, the convoy leader should wait for all bikes to line up first b4 moving off. while on the road, the leader should move not too fast.. maybe 70-80 on the expressway and hafta consistently check back for stragglers. i know it's not easy but i guess if we really want to move as a group, the front guy should wait for the back guys. imagine u r in a road march and your oc tekan u all and march like he is running.. the last guys sure kena like hell right. and then hafta run like mad to catch up.likewise, the last few bikes might need to speed up and catch like mad which may be dangerous. besides, if we really moved as a convoy like we learn bike at training center.. we r safer as a group coz cars can't really eat into our lane.. tt day got one taxi die die also must eat into our lane and one of us was forced out.. tt's coz we had some holes in between..

just a tot that might make our outing more neat and more 'attention-seeking' and safer

cheers :cheer:

How was i suppose to know you were one of the 3 RVFs playing pool? I tot u left long ago! Anyway i think Ghostrider did tried calling one of the pool guys? If i knew you were one of them , of coz i call la!

At Marina South, i think i remember seeing your bike coming in but after that i oso never see you and you didnt tell me where u went.

So, dun blame me, Its too chaotic to keep track of everyone... . :cheeky:
