Basically it depends on the mech lah. Good mech would know a certain bike better at richer settings and some bike at lean settings. All in all i'd say Ah Beng is gonna be a really good mech some day.

Actually for washing and tuning of carburettor, its almost the same. Their uses a vacuum gauge to balance the flow. There's no who is better in this aspect.

oh, my rpm is climbing slowly especially after 9-10(rpm). the throttle seems "heavy" ard the rear rpm

Wah siao.... Fat cat's been with Planet eversince i knew that shop sia. That was like 4 to 5 years back. Guess he goin back m'sia open own shop.

Tyres are usually market priced. Sometimes u find super cheap tyres but eventually u found out that the rubber compound are those almost expiry date type. Hit a bump hard and u mite end up with a bump on the tyres or a patch jus comes off.

 

Can bargain a bit ah with Ah Chong. Ask him to do balancing also.

I just bought my NSR SP 150 from ah chong for $2600, FT plate. One of the cheapest i could find ard. The bike was in pretty bad condition cos kena buang few times. But he said he would change new fairings for me and other stuffs.

He does financing but prefers "cash and carry" cos he hates doing the paperwork...
