install a 1000000W speaker system ....playback a recorded backfire sound as and when needed

Posted

1) Stuff your exhaust with something (e.g. potato)

2) Stick some firecrackers inside

3) Pour some petrol into your exhaust

Even the smallest spark can start a massive forest fire...

i presume u riding a carb bike.

on 5th gear, at 8k rpm, cut off engine using the engine kill switch. while doing this, continue holding your throttle at that speed's position for 2-3secs or if u dare, 10secs.

den on your engine using the engine kill switch.

unburnt petrol will accumulate and bang the moment u on your engine back!

No more regrets.

truth is some cubs like Yamaha X1 can backfire when it is absolutely not the intention of the rider to do so

even some of the stock bikes will backfire

tdy juz saw a FBB plate X1 OTR backfired twice softly when slowing down for traffic lights

Softly is accepted...

Those that let off a pants-dropping "BANG!" should really get banged in the head.... Not only its irritating, it can cause quite a rude shock to passerbys... What if some frail old guy happens to have a weak heart? Congrats for killing someone with your bike without ever touching him/her....

I believe the threadstarter doesn't need any moral lessons, maybe he just wants to give bangs at the track for that extra effect after powersliding out of corners? Let's cut him some slack, there might be some guys out there purely trying to fulfill some knowledge curiosity.

People jet bike to prevent backfiring, don't know why someone would want to do backfiring on purpose. It's very bad for your engine and will probably crack your exhaust and cause it to leak and the clamps. The reverse wave of energy will probably damage your valves and piston assembly too (connecting rod, crankshaft included).

Do you feel antisocial? :sian:
