Hi bros,

 

I should be getting my Class 2 soon, and am seriously considering a Ducati Monster. I drive a fiat, and I love the Italian characteristics and I'm wondering if it's the same quirky unique riding experience with a Ducati? Why Monster? Because I love the look of it.

 

Is the Monster 696 good? Any major difference between riding the 400 and 696? What should I look out for / consider when getting a Ducati? Finally, which shop would you recommend for servicing? I know for Italian cars/bikes, you need a shop that specialises in these cars/bikes.

Yeah I've read those links and still reading as there's just so much but I'm more than halfway through. I was almost sure I was going to get an M400 but then realised it's not worth paying $9k for a 15 year old M400, when I could get a 5 year old M695 for $12k.
