I just hv my bike inspected at Vicom and encounter the 'Fail', As they said my front signal light colour not right. I have to change the bulb to the yellow colour type as my signal cover is smoked type. But it's okey for the passed 3 yrs inspection.....:(

And my additional small brake lamp below the topbox also need to be removed. same with my front fog lamp.

Here all bros beware LTA/TP nowaday very strict on bikes irregal modification/additional lamps.....00'

Yeah, I had a few bikes some years back. Added a Super 4 Ver S as a work horse.

Got it from a bro here in full stock (including the 8 years old "orbit" paintwork, however

the mudguard was sawed off to make it look sexier.

The Vicom failed the inspection and stated that I needed to replace an original mud guard

from the agent. My thought was that - for such an old ride, maybe a new mudguard will cost

around 50-70 bucks. Boon siew then, had quoted me about 250 -300 bucks for a piece of

old plastic....fainted.

In contrast, when I sent my Ducati 748 with modified twin exhaust (model ZBM-14) for the

inspection, it was cleared -surprisingly! Nowadays inception is very dependent on "new" policies,

unless necessary else try to keep ya rides as stock as possible...it will certainly save your wallet

from some unnecessary bruises by involuntarily restoring it to its legal standing.

unnecessary

Its really so absurd these days.

They might as well ban top box & panniers. Reason : It upsets the balance & make the bike unstable. Its also not OEM when the manufacturer send the bike model for clearance at LTA when the bike was awaiting approval. Knn.

Riders ride to work. Drivers work to drive.

But the quality not to good IMO
