nsh is perfectly ok. im thinking of going ipoh, kl, taiping and butterworth to look for relatives.

 

or malacca makan trip. must ride before january!! must must!!! eh org short trip again leh i gian.

hi guys, back from trip

 

ah shin, no need to go east coast trip liao, the area is flooded, route 3 is unpassable. karak highway is unpassable. jeli-gerik is unpassable. cherating to sgp is a 800km journey through raub etc etc, knn! somemore east coast rains all the damn time! some places can only see the roof of houses, or you can see only the leaves of the oil palm plantations.

 

i learnt something new, you can put your posb everyday go! card into any maybank atm and withdraw ringgit just like in sgp, it deducts from your savings account. i didn't know that, very convenient!

Hi everyone, serene here. Gonna post a few photos I took from the melaka trip here, cos jason and i missed the photo exchange session.

 

Our trip to cherating was a real eye opener for me. Driving 800+ km just to get to one place is really an experience I dunno if I wanna relive again !! And really fun to see an expressway flooded....

I add one of the photos of the flooded expressway for all of you to have a look.... so you know what we mean ! And this is not the worst one... many of the oil palm trees were covered till only the top of the tree was left....

It's the East-West highway cutting from the East coast to Penang on West coast.....juz check a Peninsular Malaysia map - shld be able to see =p

gerik is near the thai border. its a small town that has a mountain highway connecting it to jeli. thats what people call the gerik highway, 70 km of twisties, with a lake between two mountains.
