WTS: Phantom TA 200

Selling away my phantom, 200cc, which have served me for 3 years +.

COE, inspection and road tax ending 10th feb 2014.

Selling because I am changing to another bike.

Milage: 86k

Engine: 9.5/10

Outlooks: 5/10

Looking for around $800 (negotiable upon viewing)

Viewing only at potong pasir or toa payoh.

 

Some brief info:

Colour is dark blue/black

Bought the bike from a shop in a bad condition, did a full overhaul at planet 18months ago so engine is still in very good condition now.

Things i changed the past 20months: front brake pump, side stand, x-ring chain + spockets, fork seals, brake disc and pads, gear box, piston/piston rings, timing chain, hella electric horn(legal one), air filter(changed every yr), engine oil(every 2000km).

The internal condition of the bike is really good, come test it out if you have doubts.

 

However, the external looks is not very good, when i bought the bike, it has a dent on the side of its tank and a dent on the exhaust pipe at the point near the engine. It will cost about 120bucks to repaint the tank and maybe 50bucks to change the exhaust pipe if u buy 2nd hand ones. To be honest, I only bother about the engine's performance and reliability since im just using it as a transport to and fro my uni.

 

The COE is ending and I could have just scrape the bike, but i feel its a waste to scrape a bike with an extemely good internal condition. The only thing on the bike the new owner needs to take care of, is the tyre, because only about 10% of the threads is left as its 20months old. The other parts of the bike are working fine.
