Hu Zuh is fermented bean cubes, damn good with teochew porridge.

Nowadays hard to get traditional one, but the Taiwan import which chilli type also damn nice...

Oh okok, now i remember, my fav too. Mum used to cook porridge during lunchtime before I went to sch on secondary sch days. I only ate before those in small glass bottles with chilli, gooda! Outside kopitiam seldom see such food leh.

I seldom eat porridge but i like to put the fermented bean cube to fry rice.

I was first batch of Pri 1 at Woodlands.. gee when i lived in Jurong.. duh hahaha.. early mornings man. I always heard my teachers telling me about Kay Wah.. wished i had the chance to experience those kind of school days.. but too bad have to make way for urban development. :pity: So you got chance to see Zoe Tay? :D hahaha heard she from Kaywah too hahaha and lived there.. keke jus jokin :p

 

So who were your teachers? You know majorities of my teachers are still teaching in Qihua and taught in Kaywah before.. kinda inspiring.. always look up to them as role models.. hehee and i still kept in contact with most of my P1 frens and P5 and P6 classmates.. all over the world haha.. in fact i met one when i was jus walking along a back alley in London 3 yrs back.. tok about small world.

 

gee.. at least the guys grew.. i am stuck with my pri 5's height.. :cry: sob sob.... want to grow taller a bit also no chance too... aiya's suggestions of beansprouts didnt seem to help either... :lol:

 

my stint at hwachong wasnt realli long.. only for a week.. to cover for the HOD... which i was realli glad.. cos at first i was supposed to cover swimming lessons.. and the first swimming lesson is to take my ex bf's class.. :pity: :nono: heng heng dey change it last min hahahaha :D :D

 

but i am getting lazy.. i seldom play any sports nowadays.. but after hjc i took pri sch PE and netball but nothing much cos not as competitive like JCs students...

 

oops :offtopic: haha aniwei heres a pic for ya to think about old times hahahahaa... a bit hilarious though... :D

 

Wa, so powerfull ah, live in Jurong study in Woodlands... Zoe Tay's father and my father are close friends in the kampongs last time. Her dad owns a Pig farm and mine dad owns a vege/chicken farm which he converted to am engineering workshop later on. My dad told me that back when we we still young, we used to go to Zoe's place to play catching, hid and seek, etc with her. I have not much of a memory on that though. Fatefully, when my mom was operating a Wu Xiang Shop 4 years back, she came to patronise us and I got the chance to collect money from her, not really realising that it is her cos she was wearing shades... :D

 

Qihua got quite a few old teachers before I left... Can't really remember their names liao. Still had the class photos from back then, most of my classmates change so much that I cannot recognise also. The indian lady in your photo is not very familiar to me also...

 

Before Qihua, I was in Lim Chu Kang Primary school and the place rocks! There is a long drain outside all the classrooms where we all have to sit there everday after lunch and brush our teeth as a school. If I am not wrong, there is a song to coordinate the brushing. Missed the place more than Qihua. Tere is a big tree at the back yard of the school which housed a squirrel family and we play marbles and traded stickers there. Then there is this big field where we play "shooting ball" and often end up breaking the classroom window panes. Good old days... :lol:
