Over at Regina they selling Arai Ram3 at $480. Anyone knows why? Other place is like $550.

i heard that if u were to sustain head injuries in any accident....

and ur helmet is not PSB approved

 

then the insurance company will not compensate u...

IMO, the non-PSB cannot claim insurance is still a myth.. till now i think no one had actually been not compensate if they are not wearing PSB approved helmet.

 

in a nutshell, we should abide the law by wearing PSB approved ones.. then again, if you sway, everything will go odds against you one.. whether you wear the most expensive full suit, the most expensive helmet, the most safe bike..

What if accident kena the helmet and the sticker is gone.... Then the insurance company will also not compensate.

 

Branded helmets like Arai & Shoei are quite recognised internationally. Somemore with or without PSB sticker is still from the same manufacturer. Unless you buy chiong ones..

a very simple reason ...

 

1. w/o PSB sticker

2. helmets are sourced from different countries (one jap / one europe)

 

same quality and genuine!

 

but note the sizes ... europe size L and Jap size L ... is different

Well guys...I just bought my Ram 3 from the authorised distributor

 

What I got in the deal:

 

Standard Package:

 

1 x Arai ram 3 ' L ' size ( Gunmetal Grey ) helmet WITH PSB sticker.

1 x Arai ram 3 original helmet sling bag.

 

Freebies:

 

1 x Arai normal helmet sling bag.

1 x Arai tank helmet bag.

2 x Coolmax Inner Liner.

 

All the above cost me $520.

Its up to you to do the bargaining.

Maybe some other regular customers could get an even better deal.

So I guess paying another $40 compared to buying from Regina at $480 was quite a worth deal for me.

Not to mention getting the above items in the package with the PSB sticker intact on the helmet and buying from the authorised distributor really saves me from the worries that the earlier forummers had whether helmet 'chiong' or authentic as well as the insurance claim thingy which never came across my mind but now it doesn't worry me either.

I order from regina 3 weeks back till now no stock sianz ..... anyway it $480 with psb sticker w/o will be $450.
